Gnome/Alliance will be better in the long run with PvE especially once you get into AQ and go Fire. Salvation and BOPS for the rolling ignite ticks saves your попа and there really isn't a horde equivalent except for limited invulnerability potions.

There are 3 realms in the works. The Reboot of the Nostalrius PvP realm, with everyone's characters transferred to it. The reboot of the Nostalrius PvE realm, with everyone's characters transferred to it. Both of these realms new players can play on and create new characters. Sometime in January they are releasing a new fresh realm with all new players on it that is also a PvP realm. PvP and PvE realms are the same, with the exception that PvP realms have world PvP enabled at all times, where as PvE realms you have to turn it on manually to be able to fight other players in the open world.

The wowiki about paladin consecration was added by someone trolling the Private server community. It was not blizzlike, and was a known bug on Nost. Glad they fixed it!

It only flags for investigation. I don't think it means an automatic ban or suspension. If you indeed have proof that the characters and account you transferred are yours, then I wouldn't think you'd have much to worry about. My guess is they are flagged for potential account theft, so if someone reports that their accounts were stolen, then they can investigate based on IPs connected, and emails used to access the accounts on nost.

Servers aren't up yet. They come live on Saturday the 17th.

To my knowledge, there is no Model changing allowed. There is some flavor and graphics string commands you can use to improve graphics. But model edits and changes are not allowed on server, as they can not see the extent of what is changed. And this may allow people to alter character model sizes for PvP, and the like. Hope this helps.

Ghod, thanks for replying and giving your perspective of the guild, and the kind words. The only correction to this message I'd make, is I believe that you're recalling what happened with the silithus shield incorecctly. Viowar never received the Shield from the AQ quest boss, but instead Picko did. As we've only ever got two Chromag shields, which one indeed did go to Viowar, being our Main Tank. The other went to Picko on a vote, mainly because he was our second tank, and someone that tanked bosses significantly more than any of the other tanks we had. As well as it was an Item at the top of his list that he wanted over all else. Picko at the time was only 5/8 T2, and pretty much not taking any gear in waits for the shield to drop, all of which was taken into account, and it was indeed a very, very hard decision to make. And given a do-over, the AQ shield would have likely gone to another tank, had we known the Chromag shield was going to drop that week. But again, we had seen 1 shield in months of raiding. Loot council is a loot system built around making the guild and the raid as strong as possible. Giving items to the tank that is taking the brunt of the raid damage to mitigate heals and thus make it easier, is a good thing, and most people would agree, having a strong Main Tank will ease your pains later in the content. The only difference in a PvP realm and a PvE realm, is players have to choose to flag themselves for PvP out in the world. So a PvP realm you are always flagged for PvP, and a PvE realm you have to turn on PvP. The Raids and Dungeons are all the same. So the realm you're looking to play on, is a PvP realm.

Technically a PvP realm is just this. It gives your world PvP, and it gives you the PvE dungeons and raids. Other than that, you're going to need to explain this significantly more.

Somewhat. I actually confused Realmplayers donations with Nostalrius donations, where guilds would donate and it said who did and all that. So I was just asking the question when I was thinking Nost had shown what guilds donated etc. Not that donating is a bragging thing, more so that shows what guilds are more serious about the server and the progression and all that. My mistake.

Shenna, are we able to do a group donation, like if a guild wanted to donate to the server vs an individual is there a way for that, or would we just group the money together and do a single donation in the guilds name etc. Also, you're welcome.
