The game certainly does not feel like a job. Leveling is actually my favorite part of vanilla, for two main reasons: 1. Social Aspects: I love meeting new people ingame and talking to them for hours about anything, vanilla is the most social point in the game's history in my opinion. Being social is required for many many quests and I love to see people working together. 2. Sense of progress: Only in Vanilla, TBC, and Wrath do I feel this. I love how every piece of gear that you obtain actually matters, it feels so great to finally get an upgrade for something after great amounts of work and then noticing the effect that piece of gear has on your damage output. I also love getting new ranks of spells, you just get more powerful and powerful. In Vanilla, you truly notice how little you start at and how far you have actually come, it's just great.

You will probably be banned like I was. I accidently left a modified game file in my folders and played the game, 10 minutes later I get a permanent ban. 2 60s on the account, still waiting for a ban appeal response for 8 days now.

Make sure you dont just right click the game and close it, or altf4 it. Just logout and exit the game.. Sometimes if you right click and close or ALTF4, it will not save settings.

None of this stuff you listed is inherently "good". Not to mention you are straight up lying with some of the stuff you wrote. Heirlooms are absolute bullshit, they completely destroyed the leveling experience. It's a shame you even listed them up there as a pro of retail. Mounts are also bullshit. Having 300 mounts to collect is not a good thing, I like it how it is in vanilla where mounts are extremely difficult to obtain, and arent account-wide. 12 world events? I'm assuming you mean the weekly world quests that award usually epics and good gear? I'm not sure how that is a pro, being handed an epic or something extremely good for little to no work is not something good. 9000 recipes and patterns to acquire? And how many of those are RELEVANT? 21637 quests? Once again, the leveling experience has been butchered, only the new quests from Legion are "good." Transmog journal is stupid in my opinion and makes the game even more casual than it already is. There is NOT endless world PvP, I struggled to find much world PvP and I was on one of the servers that PvPs A LOT. The world PvP on retail is NOTHING compared to Vanilla's world PvP. 13 races and 12 classes are also not inherently good things. The only thing I can agree with on your list is achievements, that's one thing Vanilla lacked, I love achievements. The dungeons and raids claim is bullshit considering only 1 raid is usually relevant at a time. Dungeons are repetitive and boring, and not to mention only a couple are relevant currently. All the stuff you wrote was absolute bullshit and made me hate retail even more. Get out of here you and go suck blizzard's cock some more.

Are they merging the servers right now? Is that why the servers are down atm?
