    Game Freezes When Shapeshifting

I dunno if it could be an addon. Addons just change the interface and controls, right? It's just LUA scripting, isn't it? That shouldn't change the way the game loads assets and stuff, which appears to be the issue. Only thing I can think of is maybe a certain addon is being called when I shapeshift? But that would surely happen every time, then. It's tricky to properly test. If I delete my WTF and interface folders and then play the game, it can take up to several hours before the issue happens, and even then It doesn't always happen. Looks like I'm gonna have to play without addons until either the issue happens again, or after many many hours. I did some Googling, and I found this. Doesn't really help me though, as he doesnt say what addon it is: https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/15161422712

    Game Freezes When Shapeshifting

I'll do that. I've got a 3570k overclocked to (I think) 4Ghz 16 GB of ram at stock clock Gigabyte 1060 6gb And a 2TB HDD (which the game is currently on). I may try putting the game on a RAMdisk, to see if that makes any difference.

    Game Freezes When Shapeshifting

So I play as a druid. When I shapeshift into either bear or cat form, I get like a 0.5 second screen freeze. It's as if the game is trying to access assets from the HDD. That wouldn't be a problem, except that it happens every single time. It makes playing a druid painful. This doesn't happen constantly, however. If I relog, it won't happen for a while. But then it'll start happening again after about an hour. I'm pretty sure that it's because the game needs to access assets from the HDD, but if that is the case, why aren't these assets stored into RAM? The freezing doesn't happen with travel form, however. So perhaps the freezing is due to the swapped action bar icons? Any help would be great. Thanks!

    Lost Authentication Code Generator

How strange. I had my authenticator for about two weeks. Anyone know if there is some Google back up service or something?

    Lost Authentication Code Generator

Did you back everything up before you did it?

    Lost Authentication Code Generator

Nice one guys. Didn't think of checking my e-mail! Everyone should keep a backup of that code, or print out the QR code and keep it safe somewhere.

Game Rotates my mouse 20-180 deg around.

    Same thing as that?

    Lost Authentication Code Generator

Yeah. It's definitely a problem. What if someone loses their phone? Does that mean if your phone breaks, or you lose it, or you do something stupid like me, your account is gone forever? There should be a back-up code I can write down, so that in the event of me being stupid and uninstalling the app, I can use that code to essentially remove the authenticator. Thanks for the link, but that is for the Google Authenticator when doing the actual Google Account sign in. It isn't for the app. EDIT: Is there a way I could have a code e-mailed to me or something? That way I could verify that I know the account name, the password, and also have access to the e-mail.
  9. So I ran out of space on my phone and desperately needed to store stuff on it ASAP. I deleted a whole bunch of apps, including the Google Authenticator. I thought the Google Authenticator went through the Google Account. So I thought I could just reinstall the app, log back in and have all of my "accounts" on there still. Apparently not. How can I go about adding the authenticator again? There is no way to remove the authenticator without having the authenticator. I was not given any backup codes or anything when I added the authenticator. Any help would be great, thanks.

    Increase Camera Height

Hello. I have started playing a gnome, but I am having issues with the camera. The camera pivot point is far too low down, due to gnomes' short size. This makes it difficult to position the camera in such a way that lets me see myself, what's behind me, and what's infront of me. All too often the camera is pointed straight at the ground. Other races do not have this issue (except for maybe dwarves). Increasing maximum camera distance does not help. Is there a setting, or an addon, that can let me change the camera pivot height? Maybe a way to use the pivot height of another race, such as human?

    Maximum Stealth Level

    Nice. Thanks for the info!

    Maximum Stealth Level

Hey guys. Is there a maximum stealth level? I ask because with a Night Elf's Shadowmeld, 5 points in a rogue's Master of Deception (or 5 points in a druid's Feral Instinct), plus bonus stealth from boots, you can stack quite a lot of bonus stealth level. Would stacking that much stealth reach any kind of cap? Thank you!

    Weapon Skill

But doesn't defense just work the reverse as weapon skill? http://wowwiki.wikia.com/index.php?title=Defense&oldid=238467 each point in defense: Increases the chance of being missed by an attack by .04% Increases the chance to Dodge an attack by .04% Increases the chance to Parry an attack by .04% Increases the chance to Block an attack by .04% Decreases the chance of being affected by a Critical Hit by .04%

    Weapon Skill

So how about defense rating? Is that normalized to 5*(player level) + bonuses from equipment and talents similar to weapon skill? And does defense and weapon skill work the same as it does in PvE, besides the glancing blows? Basically, if I roll as a human warrior and benefit from the +5 to maces and swords, does that mean that unless the enemy player has any defense bonuses from talent or equipment, I will only have 0.2% less chance to miss, be dodged, be parried, be blocked, and to crit?

    Weapon Skill

How does weapon skill work in PvP? I have tried Googling this and searching all sorts of forums, but I can't seem to get a concrete answer. I know that in PvE at least, for every point your weapon skill is higher than the target's defense skill, you have... 0.04% less chance to miss 0.04% less chance to be blocked 0.04% less chance to be parried 0.04% less chance to be dodged 0.04% more chance to crit. Is this also true in PvP? Are there other things weapon skill will affect in PvP? Thanks!
