Please don't use RapidQuestPack guys there are much better options out there (Just posting incase someone reads this thread and doesn't know) I personally recommend Questie, but ShaguQuest is another good option.

If you ever need to figure out what .blp to replace, I highly recommend using http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info16700-BLPView.html since it gives .blp files preview icons in windows explorer. If you need to actually edit them, the best way is to use https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/photoshop-blp-format-plugin

I think the confusion comes when people read "another server" because, at this point Elysium isn't just another server. I think the post would have seemed less hostile if Viper referred to Elysium by name. Not a reason to get heated though, seems people are reading too much into it. I'll admit my initial reaction was similar to the OP's. But then I remember english is far from a perfect language

Well they've said they want to emulate vanilla as accurately as possible. Submitting a bug report to the appropriate issue tracker (once whichever server is at 1.8) is your best chance of getting it fixed.

Posting in here as well to voice my concern for this bug. Really a huge problem right now because the entire community is returning ready to set up their home here. That requires writing guild recruitment threads, guides, and all sorts of other things that aren't possible if people can't edit their posts.

All of these items get used plenty, I'm not sure what you're on about. Either way if you don't like vanilla itemization then don't play it, I mean that's all there is to it. This is the beast you have chosen, deal with it. They match blizzard's intention as it is, if they didn't they would have been changed in one of the twelve major content patches (or countless minor ones) vanilla had.

It is very important that I be able to edit that post to keep it up to date. If this is intentional I must insist it be changed. It's essential people be able to edit their posts. Not only for AddOn developers like myself but also for guilds. Apologies if this has been brought up before.

See and this is what I mean. So many people will be affected by this. Seeing as it has been moved to the suggestion forum I can only assume it's intentional. You have to understand, whatever negatives are mitigated by not allowing people to edit their posts (If there are any) pale in comparison to the problems that are created. All it does is hurt the content creators of this community, just look at the people in this thread and the other. Imagine how many people will be turned off and just not post about it when they go to try and write a guild roster or recruitment thread or some helpful guide! Again, if this is an intentional design decision, it's a very bad one that is detrimental to everyone. Especially the people who contribute useful content to the community. I'm not trying to sound entitled or over-dramatic, it's just that this is just so hugely detrimental to the community that is currently trying to rebuild it's self. Admins if you are reading this, please go into the admin CP and change it right now. I know IPBoards supports it. It's not going to cause any problems for anyone, just do it. There is nothing to discuss internally.

Damn is this quest not working in Questie? I'll have to fix that.

To be fair, the latest version of Questie has a couple bugs. Version 3.3 should be out later today (hopefully) But yeah, just remember to check back on the github (or the new forum thread on here) periodically, because updates are going to be coming out more often very soon. Got some great new things on the way To be clear in case anyone is worried that Questie might change, all the new features are going to be completely optional. You will be able to maintain the same experience you have now in the new versions. Love your videos Azunic!
