I PvP all the time, any gear I get is either for going into PvP or gearing for a raid so I can get PvP gear. Wait, you can still play with your friends. Where is this coming from? This change was meant to remove an extremity, pick your 2 favorite friends to play with and just roll with them. You can still fuck shit up with three, but stomping repeatedly with 10 is just too much. If you truly surround yourself with your friends and have 9 others to play with, which I doubt, i'm sure you can use your brain well enough to find a compromise.

Seriously, anybody who says this change destroys the competitiveness is lying so they can keep getting free wins. Premade v Pugs aren't competitive at all, they are stomps, and half the pvp'ers want to PvP for fun and not in a group, so that won't change anytime soon. I'd say Ely picked the 2nd best solution. The best solution would be secluding premaders to only be able to vs other premades, but it's easy to see that if that happens, the free honor goes away and so the premades will just stop.

this needs to be edited into the OP tbh Sorry, what "competitive nature" are you talking about? Pugs nowadays have half their team completely give up at the sight of a premade. What is competitive about that? And if your simple workaround is to sync queue, then have at it. Wow, jeesus, now since the change It's a little harder to queue as a 10man to completely stomp pugs "competitively", boo hoo. Your suggestion about premade v premade is a good idea though.

The only way to fix this is to change gear to be PvP stat heavy. Lots of stamina, resists, and int, not as much agi, crit, str and spirit. or just remove PvP items altogether so people are actually playing. We know these won't happen though. If TBC gets released, PvP in BG's gets several times better since it's actually optimized for PvP and not a treat for PvE shitters

Is there a way we can add these two function, for non-bot and non-gold spammers? -Show the duration of the mute -Add a warning in chat before you get muted I'm sure 100% of the goldspammers are bots so these two things won't affect them. The reason i'm asking is I often get muted for whispering people on /who and advertising in world, trade and yell, and the boundaries for muting are uncertain and ridiculously hindering for actually finding dungeon groups. Tl;dr I'm not a gold spammer so I shouldn't be punished like one

I read a Burning Crusade comment where he mentioned it double procs the damage of the ability you use, so lets say you bloodthirst crit for 556 and ironfoe procs, it's supposed to be two more 556 but no extra bloodthirst effect. Is this correct in Vanilla or only BC? Also the proc rate is supposed to be higher, how exactly did they nerf it? Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing weapon, but what exactly did they nerf on it?
