About the Guild Ascension is recruiting players to become part of our team. This is a guild where players can be praised for their strengths, thrive in the raid environment and work on personal development with support from the guild. The guild works towards progression as a team instead of as individuals. If you have any questions at all – then please don’t hesitate to contact a guild official in-game or you can join us on Discord for a chat: https://discord.gg/h8zTnPC Requirements There are no formal requirements for joining Ascension apart from being able to meet our raid times. We believe in recognizing and developing your ability as a player rather than making our guild exclusive to already established players. We have no requirement in terms of raid experience, gear or level, however, we will not take you into our raids unless you have a satisfactory level of pre-raid gear. Recruitment Status You can find our current recruitment status on our guild website. Even if your class/spec isn't listed under our recruitment section, feel free to submit an application regardless. We're always looking out for exceptional players! Raiding with Ascension You can expect to see the raid team running 3 nights per week. The raid times complement oceanic raiders and are set in Australian Eastern Standard Time (+10 GMT). These times are: Fridays: 6:30pm – 10:00pm Sundays: 6:30pm – 10:00pm Anyday: A flexible day if two days are not enough. This day will be determined on the week of. These raid times equate to 0930 – 1200 server time. As a raid-wide decision, these times may be extended if the team is willing. Invites to these raids will go out 30 minutes prior to the start time. Our Loot System We use a combination EPGP-Rank Hierarchy to moderate our loot in raids. The first filter of loot moderation comes from the guild ranks which are prioritized as follows: Trials < Members = Officers = Guild Leaders Simply meaning, if you are a Guild Leader, Officer or a Member then you are considered first on the loot priority list - followed by Social and Trial members. This system is assisted with very minor intervention from a loot council comprised of the Officers. For example, if a player is rolling on an item which is not appropriate for their class, despite their EPGP standing, the Officers may rule to not give the item to said player. The loot council will be required to justify their decision if they intervene in loot moderation. Our Expectations As an applicant of Ascension, we expect you to have an understanding of how your character is played, what items you should be looking for, and to be willing to learn from and listen to your fellow guild members. We expect that you can make our raid times and that you come to each raid prepared and on time. We expect that you: Attain all required attunements for raids well before the date of the raid. Make a decent effort to get yourself geared to a satisfactory level prior to attending raids. We are not going to simply hand you gear in raids. Present yourself in a respectable manner regardless of whether you’re addressing guild members or players outside of the guild. That you stay until the end of each raid until the raid leader has concluded it. For raids that the team has voted to extend, you are not required to stay beyond the normally scheduled finish time. Joining Ascension If this sounds like the kind of guild you’d like to be part of, contact Tharas or any of our Officers (Kalysia, Meshuga, Viktoria, Jordie, Bora), we’d appreciate you applying on our website as well. http://ascension-elysium.enjin.com/

[ADDON] EVTCalendar - Blizzard Inspired Calendar Addon for 1.12!Reed replied to Reed's topic in UI, AddOns & Macros I thought about doing that, but then it prevents the use of guild/officer notes. I was trying to make this as least intrusive as possible to the normal experience.

[ADDON] EVTCalendar - Blizzard Inspired Calendar Addon for 1.12!Reed posted a topic in UI, AddOns & Macros Hey all! Here to release my first addon. I present EVT Calendar! EVTCalendar is a project to implement a somewhat blizz-like calendar addon to WoW V1.12.1. This replaces the clock in the top right with a calendar button. This calendar has PARTY/RAID/GUILD communications, and all invites are done through these channels. Blizzard did not introduce addon capable WHISPER communications until v2.0. Because there is no access to a serverside database, this calendar is NOT live updating, but works on an invite/confirmation process. The person you want to invite MUST be online for them to recieve it. Alternatively, if you wish to confirm yourself for an event, the event creator must be online. For issue or bugs, please submit an issue ticket at https://github.com/TheOneReed/EVTCalendar/issues with a description of what you were doing, or a screenshot of the error message! Thank you for your interest in EVTCalendar! DOWNLOAD LINK: https://github.com/TheOneReed/EVTCalendar/releases Images:
