IF this enhancer is modifying the .MPQ files in the installation folder - the warder system on the Elysium servers will detect it, and take action against it. (Read: Mark your account for inspection and/or ban your account). There is no way around this - as it is now. This is a precaution made on the servers - to try and prevent most hacking and/or the use of multi-hack software. My personal advice - don't even try.

Please fix the disenchant loot frames. After the recent patch notes, the disenchant frames are stuck on screen after looting has happened. They will not "disappear" until you move.

A possible scenario indeed. But it won't make a difference. You'll just have loads of "abandoned" Vanilla accounts - and see them active on the TBC server(s). I know what you're getting at, by offering the "copy" scenario, but I personally think, people will focus their activity on whichever expansion has their interest. Logicly. I'm not trying to be a devils advocate here - and I'm certainly not against the project - I just think we'll see population drop drastically on all servers, as it spreads out on the options being offered. This may be good! Especially since WoW really wasn't made for these high populated servers we're seeing now. I get people like playing with people. But there is a limit that many people seem to be ignoring. Just look at server economy. Supply and Demand, basically. Anyways.. I'm getting off-topic.

Don't get me wrong - I'm completely in favor of this news. I give it a big thumbs up. But as to it being optional - yes, it may seem so. But as a few people already mentioned in here, it will be splitting up the community. More and more people will migrate to the TBC expansion, simply because they'll have a hard time "keeping up" with the hardcore people on Vanilla. Because of this, they will be thinking -> "I can't compete here, so I might as well move my character past this content, and try for the next.". This will divide the playerbase - without question. But if handled correctly - we can all benefit from this. And that has the be the grand scheme here. Progress.

The loot frames for disenchanting have now become bugged. They no longer automaticly close, when taking your disenchanting materials. I'm using the Xloot addon, and this has never been an issue before.

2 Factor Authentication has been available here for.. roughly 1 month. 1 month. 1 month. 1 month. Not knowing which email is attached to it is.. alarming.

I use the exact same addon. I send both gold and multiple items, between my characters. I have not once, had an issue with this. The difference might be though - my gold is clean and my items are farmed.

No, you can't use a mailing addon, to send out spam mail. You'll get reported eventually, and banned.

Hello, fellow players. Been reading page up and down about the different raid addons, made available for us, by different developers. My question is real simple. Which ones do you use? I read most are "out of sync". Most are outdated. Some better than others. I am mostly looking for boss assists. Which ones should a player, looking for a succesful raiding career, be using?

Basically - you could have a public password, made in neon letters, if you install 2FA. It is literally impossible to hack, unless they gain access to your personal computer. And that is a REAL crime.

IPlocking your account, using 2FA is a good decision. What is does, is locking your account to your specific home-ip, allowing you to play safely from home, without any interfering. The second you, or someone else, attempts log into your account, from an IP address, not matching your home-IP, the Authenticator is triggered. This brings up a digit-panel, expecting a 6-digit control code, verifying that you are, in fact you. You are safe to play on your account, as long as you bring your Authenticator with you.

Funny, since I've personally downed him, with several groups, several times. But sure - you do your own thinking.

A good first step for everyone deciding to play on Elysium's servers, would be to read the rules. They clearly say that both modifying the MPQ files AND sharing your account with someone else, are bannable offences. There really is no excuse for ignorance. Best of luck on your future accounts.
