    The Irony

The Legacy Movement was destroyed when Nostalrius handed over everything to Elysium. It's as simple as that. Plus, I only understood 50% of your post.

    Inflation

I'm not a fully certified prophet yet so I can't pinpoint a date. You're probably right, but it saddens me to see what the Nostalrius legacy turned out to achieve.

    Inflation

At this rate, Elysium WILL die. A lot of the original Nostalrius players have quit this server, mainly due to the lies spouted by staff about AQ's release and the lies about the scripting ability of the development team. The non-blizzlike additions made by Elysium (possibly Nostalrius themselves) are also a factor, e.g. reduced chances to pickpocket in certain instances, mages are unable to farm DM for gold, other things like this. Took them months to fix fear+stun DC bug and it's back. The inflation, the gold dupes on Anathema, the custom-made Level 60's that are probably running around. It's embarrassing how Anathema is now sitting at 2195. That's what the Nostalrius legacy amounted to, 2195. Even Darrowshire right now is under 1000. Zeth'Kur is sitting at a measly 600, Elysium is now at 4400. People are quitting more and more everyday and nothing is being done about it even with the amount of words typed about it. Good luck Elysium, it's not looking good at all.

    The Zeth'Kur problem

Yeah it will be locked like the other thread here: Any discussion about population on the forums will be locked eventually, they don't want the community discussing it.
  6. Disclaimer: locking this discussion shows that you do not want the community to discuss this subject and that would not look too good for you. Now, we've all seen it and there's no denying it. The question is, what happens now? The Nostalrius community has been split into pieces. The population Elysium first garnered has started to slowly crumble away, even today Zeth'Kur has gone down slightly in population, reaching lows of 800. Anathema is crashing consistently and throwing out 'nasty SQL errors', it is also now only holding between 4000-5000 in active population. Elysium, the middle sibling, the most hyped server, is now only reaching between 6500-7500, I know this is still 'alot of players' but that doesn't change the fact it has decreased from a substantial amount; it garnered 12000 and had an active queue. It does not really matter how many new developers or projects you merge with, I mean, the server could possibly reach seriously great levels; but to continue your 'dreams' about the 'vanilla movement' (which I consider delusions) you have to do something about the bleeding population. Losing <NOPE>, even if you had a personal feud with either of their guild members (as a player), was a great loss for Elysium-Project, they were the leading Alliance guild on Anathema, correct me if I'm wrong. People are leaving everyday, people are giving up on the private server scene. So, what is going to be done about it? I propose a merge between Zeth'Kur and Elysium. They are both on the same patch. If you want to play with a population of lower than 100 then there are other servers out there for you. The 'vanilla movement' is supposed to gradually increase in population, not suffer severe bleeding and traumatic events. Although this solution does not solve the overall issue, it will at-least increase the population of Elysium. Thoughts?
  7. Everything is drastically low now, Anathema is reaching lows of 2000 and it's really sad to log on my old Nostalrius character tbh.

  11. Yeah. It doesn't exactly fill you with hope seeing how slow they are at making changes like this either; but we have to remember, they were given the core and I guess they're still working their way around it. Atleast Molten Core is getting rescripted by a player developer in the Open Source github... this won't hold the Anathema players though, so only time will tell...
  12. I'd like to add to the subject, as I see many are interested in this discussion, that Elysium's status page is no longer working; we cannot see the active population on the realms now. People are going to instantaneously think this is intentional to deter people from noticing the bleeding population.

    Your donations and you…

'I started weeks after the start' Yeah. That makes your comment redundant on the situation.

Don't expect this comment to be acknowledged.

    Your donations and you…

Appreciate you finally attempting to show some transparency. Though, your ignorance towards Zeth'Kur WILL be it's death.
  16. I checked it recently and saw that someone was actually in the process of reworking all of Molten Core. Someone also fixed Melee Leeway Mechanic on there.
  17. Yeah, and that's what started to split the community from the very beginning. I know multiple people that didn't roll on any of Elysiums servers because they didn't get their Nostalrius character back.

    Recent Issues & Future Plans

I find it kind of weird how you think you can vouch for the vanilla movement after the very unprofessional announcement you most recently made; even though you wish to dissociate yourself with the drama, I really don't see how you can act like Elysium will continue Nostalrius's vanilla movement, sorry, factors have weighed up and... not gonna happen. Stick to improving the server and showing people that you're mature and that we can put our trust in you instead of making such statements.
