The bigger problem is that after AQ is released, there aren't any incentives to rank at all anymore, if the gear stays as it is (in the upgraded state).

[ADDON] vQueue - A group finder for vanilla!

I have in fact tried the most recent version and it still doesn't have a chat keyword search box, so I still don't see how it's better than CTA. What am I missing? -
Receiving mutes all the time

Really, even when 80% of the BG doesn't speak English and is AFK as part of an account selling operation? Have you actually entered a BG in the last 2-3 months of Nost before it was taken down, or in the last 2 weeks? In before "report everyone one by one through GM tickets, we'll totally do something"... And not having to use a "multi-line message", do you have any idea how reporting inc/flag/etc. in BGs works and how quickly you have to update node status? -
3: Make R13/14 gear have the same stats as Naxx gear so both PvPers and PvEers can compete in both PvP and PvE. This solves the problem forever.

Receiving mutes all the time

I have just been muted in a BG, while calling out incoming attackers. This is not an "imperfect workaround", this is absolutely unacceptable. You refuse to implement "imperfect workarounds" such as banning VPNs, or banning non-latin characters from BGs, so who exactly is the priority here and why? -
Meanwhile in your previous post:
-
If you don't want a free handout, why can't you just wait for Naxx for your gear?
-
It's actually not the exact same thing, because PvP gear, in the final state of the server (i.e. Naxx patch) isn't BiS for PvE *or* PvP, while PvE gear is BiS for PvP *and* PvE. So it's even worse for PvPers. Feel free to make the calculations of the time investment needed for both btw.
-
So by that logic, PvP gear should be so much better than Naxx gear since it takes so much more effort to get, right?
-
Yet getting R13/14 through PvP for your PvE usage is too difficult for you. PvP and PvE are both "the actual game".
-
And forcing hardcore PvP players (even normal PvPers) to do raid Naxx to be able to get the best gear for PvP is better because...?
-
Not really. In your case, the grind is worth only for a specific timeframe. So, if we're introducing non-Blizzlike changes, why not fix the problem entirely, and make the grind worth it for the entire lifetime of the server?
-
And there will be no point for anyone at all to rank after AQ/Naxx if they don't buff the PvP gear stats past Blizzlike. Why is one ok and the other isn't?
-
Wait what, why would we revert talents if we're not going for Blizzlike? You're campaigning for a solution to an issue that basically stems from PvP and PvE gear disparity, so why not solve it completely?
-
Is there a version of this that works in AV? If so, which?
-
As long as we're campaigning for non-Blizzlike changes, how about buffing the R12/13 gear to be on par with Naxx gear.
-
Can confirm this, it never happened on old Nostalrius, I'm guessing it's related to the anticheat somehow.

Does this have a custom chat search functionality now? I remember that when choosing between vQueue and CallToArms way back when, I chose the latter because it had a custom chat keyword search box that I couldn't find in vQueue. -
You do in fact need to get a separate client, on patch 1.12.1.
-
Wasn't this always the case on Nost? I remember getting both at the same time in AV, Moonglade and Feralas. Anyway, the bobber sound sometimes works and sometimes doesn't for me.
-
You can also do this by installing MoveAnything, it will display the frame name of whatever your cursor is over automatically in its little Mouseover window.
-
This? No idea if it's a version that will work on Nost, haven't tried it.
-
How do addons such as DoTimer and similar do it? From what I've seen they work even if someone else applies the same spells to the target. Or am I misunderstanding what's being talked about here?
-
This also happens when you reload the UI with /reloadui. It's been like that since forever, I assume it's just something inherent to the client itself.
-
I don't know if you're aware of this, but from what I've heard, using a Windows client on Wine works to get rid of this issue.
