^ you can't access the console commands without the chat window... which you need to be playing a character for. Since the servers are not up yet youll have to wait for them to go live. Unless you're playing on a different private server... in which case I dunno what to say. But that command is the correct one I believe. It worked on Nostalrius.

You can also up the picture quality of screenshots - /console screenshotQuality 10 Or change 10 to anything between 1-10, default quality is 3. It basically just reduces the compression.

Are you sure? I swear I remember turning off PvE in Redridge when Lakeshire got invaded by 100 level 60s on Nost. I couldn't do anything as all the quest givers were dead but I couldn't be attacked. Maybe my memory is broken lol.

^ redridge is an Alliance zone, people can just turn off pvp

17 December both the PvP server and PvE server will be going live. Together at the same time. They will be progressive from where Nostalrius was. January is just for the fresh PvP server - which is progressive yes, they're releasing a timeline soon.

I didn't say remove donations, I said do not have REWARDS for donations. i.e. to make the staff not look like profiteers. I don't think this server will be taken to court but with the demand for legacy servers growing seemingly exponentially, and retail WoW collapsing in on itself, it IS possible Blizzard may do this in the future. And if Blizzard were to ever take them to court, they would be making the argument that Elysium is profiting off of Blizzard's work... this needs to stay non-profit, and having some massive celebration of how much money they're getting would not be good. I'm not a lawyer just giving my opinion.

No, let's not have a donation wall. Don't encourage giving money, puts the server in a bad light were it to ever face legal issues. In my opinion they should lay out the server costs for the year and once they reach that point, turn off donations until the end of the year.

I only played Nost PvP. As I said, in my experience I never had lag problems. Very occasionally there might be lag spikes but they didn't last long and were not frequent.

They will be fine financially, there will be tens of thousands of players, I really don't think $1200/month is going to be a problem. As for stability... yes at launch it will be very laggy and very busy. But in the long term it will be fine - Nostalrius rarely had lag issues and usually didn't take too long to log in to. This will be the same except imo maybe not as popular as Nostalrius.

Ah, the computer I looked at it on can't display gifs. I see it now. in my opinion the lower FOV looks better.

I dunno if it involves stuff which is bannable but I don't see the difference? I understand the Paint drawing but I've not experienced this in game? Nostalrius view didn't look any different from retail view, or am I going crazy? Apart from the fact the camera zooms out a bit further in newer xpacs. The images in that link are identical so I'm really confused haha.
