Are you talking about generatng a token from Nostalrius? Try using the account name + password option there instead of account name+ email address.

10x. Mac Os 9 was over like 2 or 3 year before wow even came out. I don't even think you can get online with a mac running 9x, can you?

I'm not aware any accounts were wiped because of level of toons in them. Not sure where undertanker got that from, accept maybe reasonable deduction. But I'd be hard pressed to find an official Nost thread where they said they were going to wipe accounts for no reason other than level of toons. The more important issue seems to be people who: Don't realize they have more than one account Don't remember what toons are on what account Are confusing account name and PW across several accounts ....in other words, user error type stuff. There does appear to be a subset of people with missing toons and I don't think any of those were wiped from the Nost side, there's no reason to think that yet. It seems, at this time, most likely some type of translation issue with the tokens. I'm sure we'll eventually have an official word.

If you managed to deposit the token and it originally said, the first time, you had no characters on that account, you are in a group of people with a similar issue....if you read other threads other people have noted this and I don't know what devs will do about it and good luck. If however, you deposited your token into an account and didn't verify it first and still have not verified it, that's a separate issue.

Im not sure, but it seems like you're saying you've created several Elysium accounts. Whichever account you deposited your token into is the only one to worry about. If you put your token in to that account before you verified it, do you have the verification email for that account still? And I'm not sure what you were spamming after you already had the token.

Running it as root is totally fine, it opens up permissions between the newer OS and the client, nothing else. I said I don't know what running it from executable file would do but IF it doesn't allow for updating all your settings to go to running it as root.

maybe you're just mixing up whatever PW you used between the two accounts. keep at it, you'll figure it out. You must have at least two validation emails for at least two accounts. so take a look at those and make sure you know which one is the one you applied the token too and work on that bad boy.

If you already applied that token to an account, you can't do so again because the data now exists in the database. So where ever you applied the token the first time....that's the account you need to use.

Sounds to me like you did everything right. The email you received for verification has the account name in it. So that's half the battle right there. Don't know. You didn't create more than one account did you?

I don't know if your settings would never get saved that way. If that's true, it definately isn't an ideal solution. Ahh wrapping up the windows client in wineskin is not a good universal solution except for dealing with the zep/boat bug that we don't know is present yet. It introduces different problems. The best solution is to get Mac online with a native launcher first. If no other choice is available, I'd use wineskin, but I'd definately wait til that's apparent. I'd also, if that bug is present, highly recommend running native mac except for when getting on boats and switching clients. If that proves to be necessary here, I'll def look to uploading a completed wrapped version of wineskin for everyone to use.
