It's hard to make prediction about timelines, but if you look to Nost as an example, work and testing was already underway when Nost PvP was at what 1.7? That's not necessarily a blueprint but it does point to alternate timelines from the "long road". http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=39929 I think we still have to adjust expectations to the Elysium PvP server's vanilla timeline. But I wouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing TBC in a reasonable time. We're going to have the largest pool of testers ever, but I personally have no idea about the resilience and size of Devs and supporting staff. I mean, hey, we got Nano. so, should be all good. : )

I remembered this came up on old nost a couple times. There was an interesting thread where various ways to look at it were discussed. There was a definitive answer given which is below, but that doesn't necessarily mean the same would be considered true here. So this is merely a precedent that could be used...or not. I don't remember seeing this before: Any attempt to bribe a staff member; It's in there twice. I don't recall this being on the original Nost terms, but it could very well have been in the Elysium terms already.

Shayys, I've had zero problems with everyone agreeing to greed on stuff they dont actually need on both the PvP and PvE realms. I've had people say, let's just all need on it in case someone makes a mistake, and done that too. It's essentially the same. The real buggerboo for me is BOE recipes, that's something that definitely needs to be agreed on in advance.

Ninja looting is a player issue, not GM issue. Maybe the OP hasn't played on a private server before? Your rep stays with you and follows you where ever you go, keep that in mind. I run with guildies as much as possible, but I enjoy meeting new people too. If a run is going to be a partial PUG, I insist on being leader and state our simple rules up front so that outsiders can be comfortable in advance. The only tricky thing that pops up on occasion is something like the orbs from strat. See that's a valuable mat, so if there's no one who actually needs them, I prefer we all greed until we get one, then we pass with the possibility of everyone getting one. I have also had a tank run with us that actually needs them, so if we have a pug, I'd explain we're all passing on orbs until the tank has enough and ask if that was acceptable to them. It's really best to get this all straightened out in advance and it has the effect of building a reliable, trustworthy rep not just for me myself, but for my guild's name and that kind of rep is worth way more then stealing one item for oneself. Edit: oh i see OP has been on all kinds of private servers. I don't recall having issues with sauerkrauts players on nost pve, so I suspect he is just trolling, or hope so.

Most people level priests as shadow, for obvious reasons. I leveled both my Nost Priests as healer and did a hella lot of wanding : P I'm just stubborn that way. It took me awhile to get comfortable playing priest in vanilla. Yeah read some guides, but it really boils down to lots of experience with your priest. Downranking in the right spots, building your talents to your own needs, understanding how important party positioning is, managing mana, etc. Once you're comfortable it's a beautifully involving class to play. Definitely read up on each tank you'll be healing. You approach them slightly differently.

If I were to sign on to my PvP toon first, it wouldn't be to run off to some lowbie zone and uselessly gank lowbies and feel I was somehow doing anything constructive, positive, or anything other than stroking myself. I'd go Mid level zones and counter-gank the gankers of my faction with the realization this isn't a solo, first-person shooter game, but that's just me.

I appreciate it Yerko with the "as said" stuff. Understanding that isn't difficult by any stretch. No one ever said the server was frozen, that's all ya needed to say. Just trying to figure out what is and why. Why are Valkyrie accounts frozen? because they are relaunching on different core? My misunderstandng in the beginning is I thought Valkyrie was synonomous with Elysium..and it apparently isn't...moving forward. Understanding how economies work...I'm very familiar with.

For me, I definately needed to go elsewhere and get my basic raidframes set up in advance- at the very least (insta 60 realm). That one takes some time and the ability to mess with uninterrupted, something I don't think I'll have much of for a little while once we go live. I don't use many Addons, but as healer I need something better than the standard interface. I think I generally use 5 Addons. I'm really looking forward to running a few dungeons with guildies as soon as possible in a leisurely fashion, so that we may relearn our connectedness and interdependencies and do some little tweaks to whatever we got going on in our UIs.

But...... haha But why though? If its not associated wth the merge, why? Are they transferring it to it's own nost engine server?
