There's a good amount of noise over on the Nost forums. I don't know why those guys don't get their posts going over here on Elysium. Kinda counterproductive. But, go take a look at the Nost Forums PvE guild section.

Ya know, I've been meaning to ask, is there any difference between mac and windows versions aside from the launcher? Is it the exact same application for the most part?

Hello there fella. Leveling is quite a bit more difficult here then it was on MOP, but much more rewarding. Get in a decent guild that loves answering questions. You can go au naturel and take it as it comes old school style, or go get yerself some add ons for QOL improvements. Both ways are acceptable. Have fun and don't give up!

Yeah it was fixed on Nost by being ported to the end location and gently dropped out of the air. Was it fixed on Elysium too? Also, I see it is in Bug Tracker.

I was going to wait til later to bring up this old dead horse, but maybe now is the time to start thinking about it again. Ya remember when we first created our Nost PvP accounts...in the beginning there was no email verification. This topic would come up every now and again, and it seemed no one really had any idea how to deal with it and the potential difficulties it would/did create. We're probably going to revisit that for some people. If you're a chowderhead like me, you're probably not entirely sure what your credentials were on Nost PvP. And there's no way to recover the info without an asociated email address. If you still have your original Nost WoW folder, you can dig down and see what the account names were...so yer halfway there. But, if you're like me and never thought the realm would be revisited and there wasn't enough space on your hard drive anyways and you had to chose between throwing out that WoW folder or keeping your extensive pile of pornography...well you can guess which one I chose : P So heres the deal, I have a pretty good idea what credentials are after I try maybe 7-12 various combinations: After how many tries do we get an IP ban? If i use a VPN to move my IP, does that create any new security issues? Is there any other access Elysium has to account information that could be helpful?

Yes. I'll be focusing more on PvE when it comes out probably. But I'd like to get this one rebuilt and left to capable hands. : ) Oh if you meant did we also have premades for BGs here on PvP realm along with PvE focus. nah. We were all in there often, but didn't have a standing premade.

Ok cool. yeah go to that subforum and just start paging through it. You'll see how complex the issues were, especially when it came to tracing gold. All types of nefarious activities were reported to GMs via the forums and tickets. They spent a TON of time dealing with this stuff and gathering information.

Go to this subforum and page through the 198 pages of ban threads and read some contents. Of course you won't be banned for reporting farmers whoever they are. Don't know why you need to post that image to ask this question. If you want to understand the lengths through which Nosalrius had gone to stop unacceptable activities, it might be a good idea to search through nostalrius forums. This dude you're quoting obviously has some issues that should be a red flag as to the validity of his statements.

Blizz did get into the business by selling time. Which is in essence a legal way of getting gold for cash. That can't be done here for several reasons. It's entirely against the philosophy and to involve themselves in cash could potentially create some legal difficulties down the road.

I'm not sure how instances being closed is a negative. It's a progression server..that's the whole idea. Also, I have a hard time with the concept of finding my enjoyment through comparing what I have to what someone else has. I know it's a popular concept. The absence of hardcore guilds makes no difference to me. The list is a nice idea. Include PvE realm if we want to talk about the options people have as opposed to a personal approach on what is important to yourself.

I wasn't in raid when it happened on second stress test. I can't imagine that when they have the servers up and running, that they won't have their usual fix implemented. The first day they implemented that fix on Nost and I fell out of the sky, someone on the docks in Menethil whispered to me "Where the hell did you come from!" "God was holding me by my ears and I eventually slipped : )"

Might be fixed if you were operating in windowed mode by switching to full screen mode. Saw this on WoW mesage board too: you can fix it by right clicking the wow executable (wow-64) go into properties > compatibility tab > and make sure that Disable display scaling on high DPI settings is clicked.
