I can no longer access the old Tuleup bug tracker from nostalrius. I don't know if the info from there is now represented here in the Elysium bug tracker or not. I searched the Elysium bug tracker and cant find anything by spell number or name about this Shaman situation. Well, the search feature in there is returning a bunch of unrelated junk. I can't get that bad boy to do what I want. Poke around in there and see what you can find. : ) https://report.elysium-project.org

Yeah I tried using that with urls, just shows a broken link from imgur and Facebook. Unless it is working but doesn't show it.... let's see... It says, "you are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" Does the site just not like imgur and Facebook?

If leveling as quickly as possible is important to you and you want to play priest, ya....you go shadow.

em def could be add ons. Could be your route to the host. Could be lots of stuff. Usually the first place to start is updating drivers. Toss out the WTF folder too to get a clean copy.

I think any of those MPQ file would atempt to self correct if they were communicating wth the server. The stress test is the only scheduled event for the servers. There will be no game until the install is complete at some unspecified time in the future.

Try running the program with whatever security situation you have off and see if that MPQ file repairs itself, then turn your stuff back on.

That error I think would be possibly corrected if you had a server to connect to. Since the server is not online I doubt you're going to have any luck in that regard. It happens when your client side data doesn't match the server's data. I don't know if that error happens for any other reason. Check error 134 on web. At any rate there's no server to connect to now.

Really, it always comes down to the same thing- do what makes you happy. I've leveled two priests on Nost, and I level them as Disc priests. I know everyone says you are supposed to level as Shadow. Maybe I LIKE wanding the crap out of stuff! But when I join dungeon groups, I am there as your healer and that's what I'm a gonna do. I'm gonna heal the crap out of you, and you'll like it. Plus when I get to 60 I feel eminately qualified, having trudged this distance in my pig-headedness, to be your best healing chum.

We don't have to worry about the population and the ability to say whatever ya want isn't going to make any difference in that regard. The answer to your query is in the TOS: "When communicating with other users and staff, you may not: Communicate any unlawful, obscene, racist or any such language and/or imagery deemed inappropriate by Elysium staff." The key component of this is, "deemed". So it's open to interpretation, and for a reason. We don't want to just have a list of words you cannot say (except apparently in the forums : P), We want intent to be critical. We had some ability to use some adult language as an adult in the game and to an extent in the forums at Nost, but if one's intent was to just try out some naughty words and spam chat to get attention- expect full well to be censured. Usually that amounted to having your chat privileges revoked for X amount of time or to be banned from the forums...and I really don't recall many people be banned from forums out of the thousands and thousands.

Dang how do you upload images to this BB. I can't get anything to work. Can't make a gallery because the pulldown menus dont work. Cant use a web address no matter what it shows as a broken link. Cant copy and paste. HTF do you do it????

Cryofsorrow's plan looks good. Otherwise... If you saved your original config file, copy and paste it. I read somewhere else could be this one missing: Look for the file d3dx9_37.dll in the following folder C:\Windows\System32 If that ones gone, you need to either find that file or do a new download of DirectX. I know theres a place out there on the web somewheres that scans and just downloads the missing files, but I don't know where it is. : (

Happy Thanksgiving for those partaking. If you're not partaking, you're missing out. This is the one holiday that got it right. If you are hosting this eve's festivities, like I am, let me give you some pointers: 1. The only thing worse than successfully making fudge, is successfully making A LOT of fudge. Don't do it. You'll regret it. 2. Ensure that all the crap everyone brought over to your house leaves with the people that brought it. You're going to be surrounded by pie, cake, the fudge you made, piles of body parts from the turkey, and other assorted foodstuffs you have absolutely no way of consuming. The one exception being booze. The booze stays. 3. Don't forget to take the nudie magazines out of the bathroom. 4. When cleaning your abode in advance, don't clean to perfection. Ths is reverse psychology at it's finest. You don't want everyone thinking that you only cleaned your crap up for them. Plus, if you really sandblast down through all the crud in your house, it's going to smell like bleach and chemicals. Don't do it. 5. Avoid political discussions, especially if you're already hitting the booze.

you know what? I'd recommend waiting for the stress test and throwing out your wtf folder and see how it repops for now. There's no super duper hurry as who knows how long it will take before we can actually play. I guarentee Pottu will still be here and I will too. Promise.

Really, if it comes down to TOS, stated server goals, or anything else in print, all that is needed is to link the apporpriate thread/statement in question for the OP to study. Berating a person for asking a question isn't going to yeild any positive results. As I said, this isn't going to get any easier or less annoying for those easily annoyed.
