Use the direct downloads and not the torrents then. Torrents need a torrent downloader like Utorrent to open them. Are you doing that, or just trying to open up the initial file with Unrar?

There are very few incidents in which they restore an item. Read the TOU and see if yours meets the requirements. If it doesn't, that's probably why you aren't getting a response.

Oh and by the way, if you are downloading torrents, you need a torrent downloading program like qbittorrent to handle that. you'll usually also need a rar extraction program too like rar expander. But I think on that thread I gave you are some direct download.

My friend didn't receive the confirmation letter for a week at any of the three different accounts she tried setting up, so I trie to make one for her. I didn't receive the confirmation either. I did try changing the password, it said it worked, but when tried logging into the console it said, "oops, something went wrong" or "to many tries" or something like that. so I could never open console either. What I could do, however, was sign into the game with the newly created password. I dunno. It's worth messing with.

What jorn is saying is the charter needs to be in your original backpack when you go to register it. It's kooky, I know.

Did you create a game account? Make sure you are operating as administrator. Right click wow.exe and set to administrator. Make sure you are launching from wow.exe and not any launcher if you have one. If the wow folder is in program files, move it out of there. Does your realmlist.wtf say: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org ? if not, use notepad to write that in there. If it already did, you can try using the IP address instead: set realmlist 164.132.233.125 and Pottu's post about DirectX

Theres no reason to think you need to re-install right now. Make sure your account got the verification email..and do those steps I wrote above.
