It seems like this involved changing of game files. The stance on that has been that it isn't allowed out of fear that if they allow certain changes that are innocuous it opens the door to malicious changes. Maybe they revisit this sort of thing once the servers are up and running smoothly.

PvE attracts people who have RL obligations, like jobs.

These threads would stop if they actually gave those here for the fresh server a date.

Having posts deleted showing a slight opposition to this. Great sign. It should be noted that if the server is all it is I hope it will be I will probably be one to donate. Probably would be considered someone who would be a heavy weight donator. Silencing any opposition is a big red flag, especially for a simple forum opinion.

Asking for money before we know what the gameplay is like seems very modern mmo to me.

I'm new to the Vanilla realms, my first gut for my first class to play was a Lock. But I've been thinking about playing a Mage lately, the Soul Shard stuff on locks doesn't appeal to me much. Ports on Mages seems nice. Free Mount on Lock seems nice, but not long-term. I'm wondering if anyone here could provide some contrast on the different gameplay styles for the two classes in the PvP realm. I know Warriors and Mages are probably the two most played classes, which doesn't bother me a ton.

How much did you pay for the account?

I mean it all depends when you're talking about. I would be shocked if Elysium PvP doesn't take over as the high pop server in time.
