Stress test #2! Get in on it!
MisterRay replied to Docholy's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So the Nost PvP server will be the "old" server people played on, getting their characters back? Or does everyone start from 0? And which server will be "more popular"? The old Nost PvP or fresh Elysium? No clue which server to choose once it's released lol -
Stress test #2! Get in on it!
MisterRay replied to Docholy's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So the stress test is over and what now? What I've heard is that they will first release the Nost PvP server .. does that mean that old Nost players will get their characters back? And I also thought it's called "Elysium" now ... and what is this fresh realm then? So much confusion for me. Anyone mind clarifying this for me? -
Playing tank/healer while leveling?

Sounds great! Some other people here mention that as well by bringing the right gear is enough/can be enough to level AND to do dungeons in the role that you want to go. Thank you, fructi -
Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Thanks for the insight on this. Since I want to roll a resto shaman and prot warrior, I am mainly not sure how it is to level a shaman when speccing into the healing tree since the start. But now I know that prot warrior is a pain to level, as you mentioned. Thanks for this -
Hi there, Do we get to keep our characters after the stress test or is there a hard reset? Also, how long does the stress test last?

Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Do you also recommend it to new, fresh Vanilla players like me as well? If we take priest as an example and the best and fastest leveler in the word levels 2 priests, one shadow spec with healing off spec + another priest will full heal spec, how much time difference in leveling would it be? It's difficult to judge it for me as I am really new and it sounds like leveling as a tank or healer since level 1 with full tank/healing gear, seems like a pain in the butt EDIT: Let's just say a priest with full shadow spec. -
Super general questions about Vanilla - no experience/beginner!

I am falling into my old, bad habits of having it easy. You are right, going to do it all by myself and also challenge myself ... I mean, this is one of the reasons why I am going back to Vanilla -

Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So let's say I play a priest, go for the shadow spec while having a mix of skilling in dps and healing. At around level 58, it will be hard to heal in such dungeons as I need to go full healing spec. Let's also say I respec completely but then I will struggle leveling from 58-60, no? Since I know that changing specs is expensive, then I really want to avoid unnecessary mistakes since start -

Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I see. So as mentioned earlier: I go full dps but collect healing gear, that I use in dungeons. At level 60, I just "throw away" the dps gear and go full healing - skill tree + gear? -

Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Thanks guys for the input. I have mixed feelings about this now ... What do you recommend if I want to be a healer? From level 1-60? What's the best way to level and also play my favorite role? EDIT: It is still sort of confusing to me, sorry -
Playing tank/healer while leveling?
MisterRay replied to MisterRay's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
So it is recommended to just have a set of gear for each situation, i.e. dps gear leveling, healing/tanking gear dungeons, and as soon as I reach level 60, I respec to the respective skill? For example, I want to be a healer, I just level with dps spec to 60 and then respec? -

Arbet, great input wow. I am so happy that many mention the fact of socializing, working and playing together and spend hours on things to grind. Everything seems so difficult and that is GREAT. I am sick of easy content ... Thanks for your time, I really appreciate you! -

Vanilla WoW lvl 30-60 XP Grinding Guide (Horde and Alliance)
MisterRay replied to Staysafe's topic in Live Streams & Videos
Hi, thank you for the video. Since I am new to Vanilla, is it really "GRINDING"? Like, just killing mobs and gaining exp? Or are there enough quests from 1-60? -

Hey, it's fine. As I said earlier, it's about own opinion so it doesn't matter if it is close to truth or not ... I just want to get a feel for the game as I am a new chicken here while everyone seems so experienced haha. It will take me months to understand mechanics, i.e. raid bosses. -

So over the time, raiding got much easier while in Vanilla its about wiping 100 times more until the boss is dead? Sounds like that and I LOVE IT! -
