Are you sure about frost shock ranks or even LB? It is indead for kiting but what are you left to when wpvping while leveling?

Really now. If a rogue kicks your immolate, he deserves to die. There will be no normal rogue that would do that. On the contrary you will get locked on your drain life. Succubus might be somewhat ok if you are horde. Still having a succubus around in invisibility and drain her mana with dark pact might end up unable to cast seduce. If you have her on autoattack, they will kill her extremely easy. It is not epeen to be able to kill 3 mobs. What are you talking about? Why fuckin epeen for farming fast? Only losers do that. Since we cleared that out, even 2 mobs might be a problem without a voidwalker to sac. In general you cannot expect using succu for mana battery AND have her cast seduce on demand.

Drain tanking is not that great at a PvP server while leveling. The reason is that to utilize this spec you need to kill 2-3 mobs and while Dark Pact can help you avoid overusing Life Tap, you are still an easy target without a void to sac and 3 mobs (even one feared) with aggro on you. This spec was extremely good at TBC where impr drain life was only 2 points, and with the shield that increased your healing received and spell dmg (cannot recall the name now).

I did a merge of the two videos in this thread. My steps: - 2 quests at Northshire - Get quest and give it to Goldshire, bind there - Did not use the priest method but the other one. That is discovered Tower of Azora, Eastvalle camp, swim up till lake, Ridgepoint tower. - lakeshire, you may die here. If you die as you enter, rez at GY, get Lake AND Lakeshire exporations, get FP - Road to Duskwood, you may die before from tarantulas, enter duskwood. if you die, rez at Darkshire. Go a bit north from GY and get cemetary - Darkshire, get FP, a bit north to get Mistmantle manor, take the road towards raven hill. At each little intersection go a bit to the left to explore each one. you need not go too far - at intersection to STV go a bit towards the ogres till exploration - you will die from wolves, spirit rez, discover raven hill go towards westfall. At the intesection get Adel's (or whatever the name). Go towards westfall - Go to the right a bit to get Dead Acre. Discover it and swim abit towards duskwood to get Hushed Bank. back to the left of the bridge get Dust plains - Follow the road. Get Moonbrook then Sentinel Hill, get FP. go towards elwyn, get Saldean's and Jansen. back to the road towards West. - Get all Furlbrow's Mine, Quarry, Alexton. you don't need to get too far away from the road to get these - HS back to Goldshire. Go to SW do the THREE quests there. Don't forget to SELL the wine. you can get spell or profession just from this (like 18copper) - Get train to IF, get FP Go out and explore everything while going to loch... follow the priest video from there to reach Darnasus When I reached Darnasus I was 87% towards 5. And my HS had like 26 minutes CD. That means you need to go deeper in Teldrassil and kill mobs till you HS is off CD and you can do back to leveling at Goldshire... These are not mine. I just combined the two videos. All these was like 1h 10min.

Yes but I suspect that the mobs outside starting zone will be camped with parties. People know this.

I still think that Blizzlike is not a proper argument. Vanilla was a new thing back then. People kept discovering things for years. For old players (or even players that have only tried the private setting), this is not new territory. They could have shrink it a bit. Not much. Just a bit.

Browsing at Elysium PvP server guild recruitment, one can see there are more Alliance guilds. Do you feel there will be faction imbalance?

And now you see many many horde guilds :O

Quests. It would be great otherwise :P But you can go on from the above guide (after doing the 3 SW quests) and use train to get to IF and then explore more at dwarves areas.

Managed to reach 8 after all at decent speed without imp with 2 professions etc. But I had plenty of people to party with at kobolt mine, etc. I surely feel the absence of the imp but it might be worth it at a new server.

Hmm... I am testing the @mouseover and it works fine but it does not work with Grid, although it is in the compatibility list.

I was actually referring to this exactly :) Got Immolate with my test char but no Corruption. Also the imp is a problem since it is a quest :( If you have a party and can get to 10, well ok. If not you need to take it since it adds good damage and can kill two mobs.

I tested the above route. It is fine. The problem is that you do not have silver to buy your level 4 spell. Level 2 costs 10copper, level 4 1silver. Problem!

I only played alliance at vanilla. After that till legion I am horde. Browsing guild forums though made me wanna try alliance. My class would be a nightmare as ally though. I would play an alt holy paladin for pvp. Extremely good.

I think tranquil totem was not a thing at vanilla. Only alliance has access to threat reducing bless/buff
