I'd say Night Elf for Alliance, Tauren for Horde.

So the arch druid Staghelm in Darnassus has been dead/mia for a few hours. He is kind of important to early stage quests, there are a lot of people waiting. Can we have someone look into this?

It's been over 12 hours, so I think it's safe to say that it isn't scripted correctly.

I think PVE will have more pop than Nost PVP, Nost PVP is going to be mostly old Nost players with level 60's that don't want to start over again, I think the majority of other pvper's are going to want fair-footing and roll fresh when they want to get serious about their toons. And since there is only one PVE server that will obviously draw a different crowd. So I think population will be Fresh>PVE>Nost PVP. Time will tell.

PVE server - arch Druid is still not there. This is a major NPC / quest giver for low levels and he has been missing for over 12 hours. Can we not fix this?

Definitely not Nost. Elysium borrowed the name and some tech but the staff are not running things the same as Nost did. There have been changes, I'd expect more. This is Elysium all the way.

None of us really know what will happen, but I would bet my bottom dollar that both Nost servers will take a hit when the fresh server is released. I do think Nost PVE will have a higher pop/queue than Nost PVP once the dust settles, but hopefully the population drops to a healthy number so that we don't need a second PVE , I think we run the risk of spreading it too thin, since more people seem to prefer pvp. But who knows.

My age is starting to show here, I see a lot of people saying "baying" and "Nona" , I assume baying is slang for f'ing? But I can't figure out what Nona means. My mom used to call our town crazies "lulu's" it makes me think of that and gives me a chuckle.

So to keep things fair anyone with level 60's toons on Nostalrius servers should get put to the back of the line on the fresh server. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Blizzard is disconnected from their players and have been rendered obsolete as far as WoW goes. You couldn't pay me to play any of their games under their current staff. (I guess you could, but no less than $50 an hour). Let them stay quiet, let them stay FAR FAR away from anything that has to do with classic or legacy servers because they would clearly choke on their greed and mess it up somehow.

At this point it can only help. 3 servers are better for the player load than 2. And I think a good portion of the players that will be playing on the 3 servers are probably already crammed into the 2 right now. Very much looking forward to the fresh release, even though I'll probably just stay on the PvE from here on out.

I think the hype on the 2 servers released is already settling in, I've logged in at 11 am and at 11 pm with no wait, with the exception of a few quests I'm not having a hard time finishing quests at all. It's the ones like where you have to wait for the dreamcatcher dresser to respawn that you usually have to wait for. I do think the fresh server will be a different story.

I have to agree to a point, they are making changes to what Nostalrius was, while the servers are running fine, I feel a little like they are using Nostalrius's name to pull people in, with the intention of not really following through with making this the actual return of what Nostalrius was. Keep an eye out for sneaky changes, they've already begun.

You can run Deadmines on the fresh server.

A few people on here got really emotional about it saying they can't report people because of it (if they have to report that many people maybe they should look at the common denominator) , they also said it makes it more difficult to add people with special letters to a group. And since the server populations are clearly lacking, they wouldn't have the option of simply ignoring people with special characters in their names. Long story short, Elysium caved and It should be taken as a red flag to some degree.

I'm leve 5, I was talking to someone through whispers and now suddently it's saying I can't whisper "yet" I also can't use general chat, which I could before. Is this a bug>?

Even if Blizzard announced legacy servers tomorrow I have absolutely no interest in anything that this modern Blizzard company puts out. You couldn't pay me $15 a month to play any of their products. They would surely mess it up because they are all greed and no brains. Let them gauge their failure and choke on it, it's karma.

I only had a chance to play last night from 11pm-2am US east time, I had zero lag, zero disconnects. Night elf starting zone was very populated.

If you remove the alliance you would have to wow. All I got from this is this guy doesn't like conflict and war and just wants a Orc hugfest in Org. Not very Orc-like at all OP. Your green parents would be ashamed of the ninny you've grown to be.

Yep! I didn't get a chance to play until late due to work, but I made myself a toon on PVE just to experience the tail end of the launch day, Got to level 4! I have to say I was very impressed by the lack of lag, had zero disconnects. Very smooth playing. Thanks for everything you've done for us Elysium/Nost.

I know some servers allow special characters in names, some don't. Nostalrius did allow it. I have a feeling names are going to be gobbled up very fast and it would be cool to know we can keep our names with a little twist. By special characters I mean letters like: ë ï å

I agree, Especially if they are claiming this is a legit return of Nostalrius. A lot of us put a lot of time and care into our toons over there only to have the names taken away because people suddently can't stomach an apostrophe over a letter. If they want to change the rules they should save that for the fresh Elysium server instead of tarnishing Nost.

It's saying this when I'm only using 6? Is this a name bug?
