It's pretty equal in both cases, with the pvp gear you can juggle pieces depending on how lucky you are with bwl drops. If you think it's cool that the blue pvp gear is on par with multiple bwl pieces then we can agree to disagree. If by hard you mean time consuming, then yes it's hard imo. If grinding R10 is nothing to you, then the notion that it should be on par with bwl gear is even more absurd in my opinion. I see pvp pieces on both of them so idk what you're on about. I thought the SP was worth mentioning briefly, if it was the only spec affected I wouldn't mention it obviously. Healers in general got no incentive to rank either way except to get good gear for pvp, their pvp set is shit for pve healing. I remember a bunch of R14s on nost didn't make it to the BWL or ZG launch so I don't know what this fear is based on. Even if it did turn out to be true that only wars and rogues want to rank, you'd be on a even playing field with the opposition since the other side would have low ranked healers etc aswell. Dude I'm telling you, shoulders + gloves is literally bis for locks and mages on the pvp server right now and 2x2 set bonus stacking is also very good untill you get your hands on bloodvine. Removing the old pvp set to avoid gimmicks is only half the solution, since some of the pieces from the new blue set would still be better than BWL and ZG gear. You tried making a point earlier about how R12-13 gear compared to MC gear, so I'd like to know if you honestly think it's fair if some R7-10 gear is better than BWL gear? ZG patch is 5 months prior according to the timeline? If Elysium is anything like nost make that 8 months

T1 chest + head=10sp, 4 fire sp, 17 stam pre ZG -> 32 stam 31 sp after ZG. (T2 helm + chest is even worse) R13 chest + head pre update=54 stam and 2% crit, 74 stam with set bonus. If you think 31 sp is worth the same as 22/42 stam and 2% crit for a mage in pvp, wsg especially, then you're clueless af. By AQ I'll admit it probably needs an update, but anything earlier than that is just ridiculous.

For which classes is it barely better than t1? If you're looking at caster gear on some database right now, you aren't seeing the stats it's gonna have ingame.

There is no reason for anyone besides Rogues and Warriors to rank past 10/11 as it is already, if you're looking at it from a pve perspective, yet people are still doing it. PvP gear being bis for PvP should be reason enough to do it. Besides naxx gear being OP in the bwl patch, another reason that makes this a shitty idea is the fact that it brings other bad itemizations to light. Example being casters tier gear itemization. It was buffed multiple times between launch and patch 1.12.1 since blizzard gradually realized how bad int was for casters compared to strength/agi for melee. Either go full funserver and try to fix all imbalances in an undoubtedly broken game, or leave it as it is.

R14 weps will still be bis for melee. Having pvp sets as bis for pve and the stacking of multiple set bonuses is pretty wack. Who knows, it might actually encourage more people to pvp since it won't be dominated by the same handful of NEETs with naxx gear in the bwl patch.

What are you basing this on? In every Alzzin video on youtube from 9+ years ago, people clear the packs before engaging. If you check wowhead you can see multiple comments from early tbc confirming what I said about the plants aggroing at 40%. I know none of this is definitive evidence, but I would love for you to show me anything that can prove otherwise. The packs around Alzzin is supposed to aggro at 40% if you haven't cleared them, and he is supposed to have a short leash so you can't pull and kill him away from the packs. As someone else mentioned, the consumables you're whining about is from patch 1.9, so they aren't supposed to be ingame yet. Same thing happened when Smoked Desert Dumplings was implemented too early on in the progression. 2 Manning a dungeon boss as a rogue + healer? Have the thought not occured to you that he might actually have been undertuned? I dunno about 2.8k, but his mind blasts definitely did at least 2k on retail back in the days. 600 dmg mind blasts is less than what players do lol. Maybe do a bit of searching around next time, instead of assuming the staff is out to get you
