Idk what the optimal raid comp is but all content in the game is doable with an enhancement shaman. I guess it depends how many shamans you want to run because you certainty dont need 8 resto shamans and some people like to run 8 shamans in their raids. Obviously hunters spamming wing clip have higher uptime but is it even necessary to have a hunter doing it? All the tanks should have nightfall for when they arent tanking and them spamming hamstring is enough for permanent uptime. I could see the argument for 1 enh shaman to be in the super geared melee group in guild for improved soe + improved wf and totem twisting goa but beyond that it seems like a bust. Honestly I dont even know if the shaman should use nightfall at that point because off tank warriors should already be maintaining permanent uptime.

Id farm it 1h enh tbh with a good 1h like doom's edge and a high armor shield. windfuries for around 1.5k-2k total and you'll have 5k+ armor. Good damage, very good sustain, and very little downtime (practically none).

Rogues aren't that much of an issue unless they use prep and shit like that. Real counters are Warlocks & Hunters.

Lightning bolt scales extremely well with +spellpower (idk the ratio but I've been told its almost 1:1). So being aq40 geared (conservative estimate at +500 spellpower and another few hundred in consumables) you can be putting out some work with your fast cast times.

the map is already heavily alliance sided but I guess you literally have to complain about everything eh?

If enh shaman outdps warlocks and mages, then those warlocks and mages need to delete their accounts

Leveled a few shamans in my day and this is the spec I prefer: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#hE0zxzhoZxibdV0hx use a 1h+shield and flametongue. I go elemental tree first (try and get clearcasting ASAP) and enhancement later on. Playstyle is auto attacks with fast 1h and low rank shock spamming to proc clearcasting.
