It says "Use" instead of "Equip" for the spell damage bonus. It doesn't grant a spelldamage bonus in its current state. Note this is an Elysium / ZK issue.

Yeah I'll admit it, I'm spreading lies here. You don't have to have a computer to host it on, you can connect to thin air. And its not difficult at all to set up, in fact, its just been passively waiting on you since the beginning of time. Moreover, there are no run-time or scripting issues. You'd have to host your own server on your home network and connect to that via your client. Unless you have: A reasonable knowledge of compiling the core. A computer that is sitting idle to host it on. The willingness to play on a deployed core that isn't really finely polished and tuned. then please do not waste your time.

There are bugs and issues that have been present for 2 1/2 months on this server. This will probably linger as well. WTB fix for Warlock T2 Helm bug.

With Elysium people know what they are in for at least until post-ZG. Its a reasonably set amount of months until the next few patches. They are tested, implemented, and working. However, nobody really knows at this point whats going on with Anathema. AQ "is ready to go" as soon as the war effort is "completed". The first problem with Anathema is that Nost getting closed down and Anathema launching had the effect of a 20 year coma on many players. When the server shut down, it had 11k people on weekends and peak hours, and on non-peak hours it carried 9k easily. When people were in this 9 month coma, they found better things to do with their lives. Better yet, they decided not to return to their old life on Nostalrius. So in a sense, you are right. Regardless, Anathema sits at 1/2 the population on a good day as it did a year ago on its worst day. OK... So now all the rumors about the "completed" part. A lot of people think they made the amounts so staggering because they aren't ready to release AQ. Even if it is ready to go at the press of a button, the completion is slated for several several months down the road. Some people didn't want to come back and farm BWL for many months when Anathema was first announced and launched. Many more left when they saw it was going to possibly be 2018-2019 until the War Effort completed. But understand we are all waiting eagerly on Elysium, one because we know the schedule of our server for the next 10 months. We are reasonably sure that the developers will have no reason to make a 10+ month war effort. Things will be ready and they will say "we don't want to repeat the same mistake as Anathema". Either way, people see what happened there and we will be ready with supplies in hand I bet. Or AQ never drops on either server and the project goes down like the Hindenberg. Whatever floats your boat.

Can't tell if you're being serious or... Elysium regularly beats Anathema on population, despite the majority of connection and DDoS issues being native to Elysium alone. And before you even say "not until after the chargeback and Anathema was down for 4 days", no... Its been that way since Elysium launch. Why play Anathema while you guys wait ridiculous long for the Dev's to author the scripting for AQ. Odds are we'll be on the far end of the BWL patch awaiting War Effort before you guys even complete yours. And the Dev's will say "we will get it right this time" and make the Elysium War Effort appropriate. Then Elysium will only be 3 months behind Anathema. Enjoy BWL farm for another 13 months.

And I'll just add that back in retail Vanilla days, people win-traded across Battlegroups (yes, people on different realms in the same battlegroup). It wasn't uncommon for there to be corruption, win squads, win trading, and other bullcrap going on during Vanilla retail. The GM's here have kept a hand on the dodging and win-trading. So really, the situation is better here than it was back in the day.

Like how is this even a discussion? This is advertised as a BLIZZLIKE SERVER. If you don't like one faction having an overwhelming advantage due to player skill, coordination, or mechanics: GO PLAY ON RETAIL. I assure you that you'll have your hand held more than adequately, everything will be completely equal, and the BG's will be matchmade so that you win, on average, 50% of the games. Then everyone can be a winner. Stop making these threads requesting change for things that don't serve your best interests. Crybabies.

Its not feasible. You level something up to 60, it gets banned... You level something to 60... it gets banned... How many times are you going to dump 3 or 4 weeks into leveling something. You'll either learn or tire. Yes, people will be able to find ways to connect to the server. But people are gonna run out of patience. The gold sellers won't run out of means to connect to the server, they'll run out of people who will buy.

Not really. The server is already paid up 3 months in advance. Moreover, if it means losing their characters, the 2 or 3 guilds who continue to log will simply fund it. What would it take? A couple bucks per player? It'd only take 100 players per month.
