Duality

I've done a lot of Strat farming with 2H tanks. The group usually consists of 2 BiS 2H warriors in full plate gear, 1 warlock with a decent health pool and 2 BiS healers (priest + druid). As you might understand, there is a certain gear requirement to make this efficient and healers need to manage their mana well. Runs usually take around 25 mins.

Not entierly related, but would you please proceed with the Zeth'kur merge, or at least give us an update? If I understand this correctly, Zeth'kur and Anathema share the same hardware, which creates an issue when Anathema disconnects and you have to take down both the servers in order to restart proppely? It's probbaly way more complicated than this, but I'm not entierly wrong? From what I read on discord this was the issue yesterday, where the server went offline for 2 hours during EU raid time. I don't believe it's fair to the population on Anathema, or Zeth'kur for that matter, to be affected by downtime as a result of this.

I played with an enha shaman back on Feenix in Naxxramas. She (yes, it was actually a female) did decent dps, never top dps, but neither bottom. However, this came with a price of heavy consumable usage. You want to use melee elixirs to improve your dps, and mana regen consumables to sustain that dps over longer encounters. Flask of wisdom is a good example, which extends your mana pool by 2000, and mana potions and runes should be consumed on CD. If you have the time and/or resources to sustain this consumable usage and find yourself an open-minded guild, then give enhancement a shot. PS: keep in mind that you may be required to respecc to resto on occation to help your guild out.

I'd go see a large fish in Zul'Gurub about a trinket if I were you.

Use the strife buttons which are set to Q and E by default. This basically makes you run "sideways" and enables you to shoot without turning. If you are looking for a hunter addon that might help I'd get a hunter swing timer to manage autoshots and abilities.

Hi, I'd like to suggest an additional tab to your website "https://elysium-project.org/" containing live-streams linked to twitch.tv. The tab could be located somewhere in the main-tab section on the left of your page, and display a red live symbol and the number of live streams. Clicking the tab brings you to a sub-page with several active streamers broadcasting your privateserver. Further; online streams would automatically be displayed the the top of the page and arranged according to viewer-count. I'm aware that you already have a "live streams and videos" tab on your forum, but to be fair I don't think this is a very efficient way to advertise streams. Furthermore, you could do something simmilar with videos, linking to youtube. I believe this is a good way to advertise your project, by boosting viewer-counts and making streams and videos more accesible. As a result this might bring a few new players to your project and increase the population.

They don't bother shutting you down before you get a high amount of viewers. Monkeynews' stream is a good example of how a privateserver stream can avoid getting shut down with 100-250 viewers on a regular basis.

Hi Zen. Resto druids were recently subject to a "nerf", or rather a fix, where they scaled our downranked heals correctly according to penalties for downranking. To give you an example; my rank 2 Healing Touch used to heal for 700 with 1000 Bonus healing, while it now heals for 400-450. Regardless, when it comes to healing output resto druids are still very viable and with the propper encounter knowledge and skill you will be able to push the meters, especially on encounters with heavy raid dmg. Your rank 3 and 4 Healing Touch is also extremely mana efficient and you will be able to provide steady heals on tanks for longer durations. On multi-boss encounters you can help out on several tanks with your HoT spells, providing a steady amount of raw healing, and if the tanks health pool should suddenly spike, you are able to instantly top of that tank with Swiftmend or NS. On the other hand, on farm content where most of your healing comes from 'sniping' heals with fast casts you won't do so well compared to paladins and priests. Your best option here is to predict incomming dmg and pre-HoT and/or pre-cast heals on raidmembers likely to soak this damage. Keep in mind that healing meters doesn't really matter during progress raids. On several encounters you will be assigned a tank / a group to heal or another spesific assignment like curing poisons or decursing. If you are succesful in your assignment you will be of more worth to your guild than the healer who discards his assignments to snipe heals and look good on meters. The meters-game is basically a way to make farm content like MC and BWL more interesting.

BWL / MC / AQ40 tonight at 19.00

Keep in mind that DMC:BD only operates at a 70% capacity with the 15% talent and the additional 15% 'mana regen while casting' buff from 3/3 T2. Regardless, fully worldbuffed this trinket is superior to the Shard and other regen trinkets, though Rejuv Gem and the Royal Seal would be the best combo overall.

I'd still stack bonus healing. Maintain the 3 set bonus as long as possible with new AQ pieces. Personally I've allways prefered the full resto build, but you have to cordinate restos/NG druids according to you raid-setup.

Playing the "meters game" is a result of playing the same content, i.e BWL/MC, for too long and trying to make the most of it. Being at the top of the meters doesn't necessarily make you a good healer. With the current downrank adjustment and progression content you shouldn't worry about healing more than priests and pallys, as long as you heal enough to complete your healing assignment. Sometime down the road, when AQ is on farm, you can start worrying about those meters again. Regardless, in druids current state I find myself most useful by keeping max rank HoTs up on the tanks and follow up with HT4. The new max rank HT is also a tank saver if you predict / land the spell correctly, and our new rejuv rank does wonders on heavy raid-healing.
