Wtf Elysium has to do with today's WoW? It copies vanilla WoW and twinking was hugely popular back then.

Rogue with blue weapons and fiery enchants is your best bet. You have tools to deal with pretty much anything and your opener will leave victim almost dead since noone has pvp trinket at those levels (unless twink). Second place Id give to mage. Easy to get away from almost anyone and can fight on his terms after poly. Warlock without bis gear is weak until deathcoil which you can get only at 42.

I have nothing to do with gold sellers and got my account banned after I filed a ticket about it being hacked. Still no reply from admins. Feels like a spit in the face. And gold sellers are totally fine and keep spamming.

So, after someone hacked my account and transfered away my gold (about 80g) admins decided it wasnt bad enough and banned my account. Ban appeals seem to be ignored. Wont be able to play until this gets resolved if ever. -Insanitty

Veteran player here with 80k honorable kills between my 29 twinks. Those who say "No" most likely dont even play twinks or just troll. There arent any drawbacks of xp off command. It was available on Kronos and felt great, especially for those who dont have a main and can farm abit without fear of leveling out. I could understand if Elysium/Nostalrius was principally vanilla like, but its not. So I fully support addition of xp off command.

As far as I remember to deal with doding on old Nost devs limited queues to only 1 BG. Which totally killed Arathi Basin at lower levels. Will this limitation continue at Elysium?

Hunter in vanilla is very different then now on retail and much more challenging to learn. Get ready to have your deadzone abused all the time. You have no self healing so you'll have to rely on trap+bandage and FD+eating for sustain. You'll need to learn timing on your weapons since you cant shoot while moving. Id rate hunter mid tier in terms of skill cap and PvP performance. If you want active competitive games against good players you should go on Nost 2 pvp server. Have you played on nost or not doesnt really matter. Just ask invite from Almost Thiry (A) or Nightmare on Elf Street (H)

Alliance was more organized and won more games on late Nostalrius. Roll horde if you want a challenge

Biggest counter to shadowpriest is disc priest. SP cant kill him and will oom fast because of being mana burned

Twinking on Nostalrius was very popular but one annoyance we had to deal with was inability to turn off xp. It made getting some items problematic and we had a few people who ocassionally leveled out of the bracket. On Kronos there is option to switch off exp gain and it is very useful for twinking without any real drawbacks. Would be nice to have it on Elysium.

Nice guide, Shmu. I'll add some.. -You should know what gear you need and check AH for it often long before you hit 29. Some items are very hard to get (like 9 stam 9 int cloth pants or 9 agi 9 stam leather helmet). -You dont actually need to use heavy runecloth bandages. Common runecloth bandages heal full almost always and are twice cheaper. This is especially relevant if you dont swim in gold. -Iron granades are extremely useful both for catching target and getting away from melees. Granade + trinket garantees to get range when rogue/warr jumped on you, especially if you slow him first. -There are plenty of consumables that help alot in twink battles. Like anti-venom which is great against rogues poison or even hunters serpent sting. Or Ice deflector and fire deflector can save life against mages or sapper charges. -Its a matter of opinion, but imo if you're looking for the class with highest skill cap, go disc priest. There is a ton to learn to play it properly even at 29. Particularly how to be good at mana management, how to prioritize targets to heal, how to pay attention and fast dispel and when to do dps. You can also be useful without twink gear. -As melee you should use fast throwing weapon instead of higher dps but slow bow. It would be much easier to stop hunters from kiting you with aspect. -Rogue and hunter are the most often played classes in 29. So if you dont want to be "as everyone", roll something else. The least represented classes are usually druid and warlock. -When you get enough rep, buy alot of WSG food. It is much better then 25 level food especially for casters with high mana pool. All in all, 60 level PvP on Nostalrius had huge issues due to solo queuers getting dropped against premades all the time.
