It would hurt Elysium since the playerbase there wants a big population. Losing 15 % of it is definitely a noticable blow. I'd wager alot more people would like to play on a big server with 9,5k people than a medium sized realm with 4k. Nostalrius had 12k+ during peek hours and aside from the periodic lag it was it's largest selling point. It's very clear that you're speaking from a ZK perspective if you think most players wouldn't want a big server. Merge completely or let them keep enjoying their low pop.

ZK currently below 1k pop and sinking even more day by day. Don't roll there unless you think you you'll enjoy playing on a close to dead server come a month or two.

Use start attack macros for the targeting. If you're having threat issues while dumping rage with HS you can use cleave instead even on single target as it has a lower base threat value. I haven't played 5 mans with low gear for quite some time but for the future when you raid world buffed it's rarely worth it to switch stance for OP since you'll often waste som rage. Usually it's better to stay zerk stance and if you have extra rage you can throw in some hamstrings in addition to your HS when you have BT/WW on cd since they can proc flurry, HoJ and crusader as well.

Sweeping strikes is the strongest leveling ability a warrior has.

Whirlwind only makes up about 5 % of your total damage on single target encounters while auto attacks + HS make up for about 50 %. Even if the disparsity was way bigger this would be crystal clear. Mala MH/Brut OH.

No, it's terrible for that. It's basically a long execute phase and rogues even switch to dagger so they don't use their normal playstyle. Also there is the possibility of some bad luck for your tank or just having a bad player tank him causing you to get threat capped. Good benchmark fights are for example Ebonroc and Flamegor. It's entirely single target and as a melee there are no mechanics to worry about, not even threat since the boss is tauntable.

Why would I be butthurt? I don't even play AV, I just think it's ridiculous. I don't think that the backdoor is an exploit either, hence why I put the "walljumping" in quotation marks. To label this as safespotting however is just nonsensical when anybody can jump up there, either with slowfall or in a similar way to the backdoor (jumping against the gap between the wall and the building). It is in his own base in the battleground so there are also no guards or other npc's who's pathing or LOS he attemps to bug out.

Anybody can jump there with the help of various different slowfall items so what's your problem? Maybe you should report all of the hordes "walljumping" the backdoor while you're at it.

Because that's been the trend for all of the servers since launch. There's alot of "if's" and "but's" in your post, of course things can go either way; but from what we know and what we can observe that's not currently how things are going.

You're right about that. The difference is that when both realms have had their hype fade and the dust has settled it looks like Elysium will still have a more than healthy pop while ZK will likely dip down below 1k.

First week: Server was capped, Last week: 2k pop during the low times This week: 1,6k during the low times. It's basically been decreasing day by day since release. I'd be wary of leveling your character there.

Sorry, but while we do have a boomkin I don't agree with you at all. Even considering the extra crit I think that it's overall a dps loss compared to bringing another pure dps. It does give some flexibility though since they can heal on some bosses which is nice for speed runs for example. Personally I'm not so sure how it will work in AQ though with kill times at least initially being alot slower than they are now. Insect swarm is also a non factor by the way, no way would you spend a debuff slot on it. With that said, I wouldn't bring a retri either in an optimal raid set up.

It's the hosting company that doesn't allow for people to pay the server upkeep in part so if this were to happend, people would have do transfer money to one person that does the whole payment anyway. I believe the paypal money is used for servers as well, as an option to not have to pay the whole amount since then Elysium can do the whole payment at once with peoples collective effort.

Like I said, once in all of your recorded raids; and by that I meant avg boss dps in the full raids showing on your rs tab. I didn't take the time to look into every single boss. Still, I wouldn't flaunt a 290 dps MC run in close to full bis if your goal is acceptance for rets, because quite frankly it's still low. Especially when you consider that the raid has to spend two debuff slots on the holy damage. Keep on keeping on though, I'm not trying to downplay you personally here. It was simply an observation from my part regarding the specs efficiency. I'm glad you guys have a guild that is willing to try the ret dream out. We actually run with a boomkin now so we're not completely reluctant to hybrids and he did manage to pull 480 avg boss dps in a full MC run.

So this guy is I assume close to full bis (I wont pretend to know your bis-list) and still only managed to push above 300 dps once in all of your recorded raids since relaunch? Generally he's hovering around 200 even with your judge stacking. Doesn't seem very good to me.
