If you intend to heal in vanilla, you need to get used to downranking. You dont need to have all the ranks of spells on your bar, i for instance play a priest and got 2 ranks of flash heal 2 ranks of greater heal and one rank of heal on my bars. Its usualy a max rank + a rank 1 or middle rank of a spell, i swap the lower ranks depending on how much healing is required vs mana i want to use. The downranking may seem complicated, but it really is not. You just need to play around with it and figure out what ranks that make yout healing most comfortable. And thus better gear you get the lower ranks of heals you can use and still do the same healing but with a lower mana cost. As for your problem about healing lower lvl players, just cast a heal thar does not have a level requirement. Healing touch should do the job.

Hots have a level restriction in vanilla, but direct heals does not. Regrowth is both a direct heal and a hot, so it probably get its restriction from the hot. Either use healing touch, or you will need to downrank your regrowth to a proper level for your target.

This is probably the best suggestion on this matter. 7k cap is perfect, less competition for mobs and herbs ect. Less lag, While still maintaining a massive population. And the population on the other two servers should increase, if they would allow transfers. which would benefit elysium as well with getting more testing on their future patches.

I dont think anyone is denying that there is a issue with population on both Anathema and Darrowshire. But a merge with elysium wont solve those issues for a large portion of the server. Due to merging with elysium will set the servers back another year in terms of progress, which will drive a lot of the active population away from the game. Merging anathema and darrowshire is also not a solution, due to darrow being a pve server. As well as it would not bring any new players to the server since new people chose elysium. It will only delay the problem, and in a few months we will be having the same discussion again. The only real solution i see is a suprise announcement of a tbc server that we can copy our chars to once naxx is farmed. (I dont think that is likely to happen, but it would probably attract a lot of players who wants to play tbc with their old nost characters ect)

Polls are no good either, unless you are able to restrict who can vote to anathema /darrowshire players with a active character above lvl 40ish. A normal poll does not attract the majority, but it does attract trolls if there are no restrictions. Elysium players thats happy to see the other servers burn will flock to these polls just to tear down the nostalrius legacy.

Never said i did, nor did i say there arent people in favor of it. Never once did i say anything that any majority were leading any way in this matter, and if you actually bothered to read my post, the entire first part of it was about how the guy i replied to were calling himself "the voice of the majority" but i guess people in favor of a merge is allowed to say whatever they want cause they want the same as you do? Instead of making counter arguments about things we cannot possible know, how about you comment on the several consequenses if a merge were to happen that i wrote? And about the obnoxious part, that was aimed at the guy Dizeliun who kept making these kinds of threads, and when people didnt agree with him he spammed forums with server dead memes for a week.

"The majority of the community" by that you mean the loud guys who create threads all over the place cause they got kicked or their guild disbanded and cant find a new one cause everyone else on their server find them obnoxious? Or people who simply refuse to join a guild? Yes, anathema and darrowshire is awfull for those kinds of people. And you are making some really big assumptions when you say more people will return than those who leave. Ever considered what would happen to people on darrow and anathema if their servers got merged with elysium? Option 1: they get downgraded to elysium patch and all the gear they have spendt tons of hours farming will be removed or temporary disabled for months. Making it completely pointless to play at all. Option 2: wait for elysium to catch up with the servers before releasing any new content. Farming bwl / AQ for another year is sure to bring a lot of people back. content draughts always worked out for blizzard right? Option 3: speed up content on elysium to faster match the other 2 servers, while still releasing content on the other 2 servers. Thats probably the best option, and time it so that elysium and darrowshire gets naxx at the same time, and merge the servers like a month after naxx release to give both servers a fair competition in server firsts. (This will do nothing for anathema since they are supposed to get naxx in a few months) Option 4: do nothing at all and merge servers a good while after naxx has been cleared on all servers. None of those options are optimal, you are gonna piss of a large portion of a server no matter what you do.

The two "dead" servers are payed for by the players that play on them, because they love their server. Ruining their server wont bring in any extra money since these people would either stop playing / donating.

I highly doubt most people doing the bene quest is chinese. Some is, but using the few chinese that play outside the chinese prime hours is a bad example. They probably say the same about your english client kek

And its how the game was made. If its fun for you is irrelevant. this is a issue that can easily be solved by communicating with your fellow priests, and helping them reseting, instead of just standing there watching the guy fail. Encourage people to get on discord and the queue will go very fast

He left the server cause horde is dead. while his guild has done nothing but scare people away from the server, the shittalking is well deserved.

I did 20 pages into this forum and found 5 threads mentioning changing of models of graphics in the title. And there are a lot more threads about it in there that does not have titles that has those words in them, but discuss that exact thing. I would try using search for "models" "grapics" or 'legion" Would test myself but i cant seem to get the search up on my phone for some reason.

The agressive behavior is not representative in the general vanilla community. But this is a question that has been asked and answered so many times people get slightly annoyed when someone starts a new thread about it instead of using the search tool and getting the answer within seconds

I am, and there are tons of people using the search function efficiently. You just dont see them when the only thing you use the forum to is trolling like you.

People gets annoyed when people ask the same questions over and over again. The answer to your question could be found 10's of times if you used the search function, or clicked the "next page" button and checked the thread titles. tons of threads about this exact thing.

The best solution would be to speed up the timeline for Elysium so that it gets ti AQ patch sooner. But you cant just skip ahead one tier of raiding without pissing people off. So you would nees to delay naxx for anathema for quite a while, so elysium could catch up, even with a increased timeline sleed, or there is no point in merging at all. So what we are looking at is maybe 4-6 months delayed naxx so thar elysium can catch up. Do you think anathema would survive that?

The reason for not merging the 2 servers is pretty simple. If you merge elysium into anathema, people who wanted a fresh start will be pissed off and leave cause they just got put together in a bracket with people that had farmed AQ for months. Which means that for the elysium players, they will lose more players than what they gained by merging. And if you merge anathema into Elysium, you would have to strip anathema people of the gear they have spendt a year farming. And set them back to a pre bwl level. + having to wait another year for naxx to release. Which will make most anathema players leave. Merging elysium and anathema is a lose lose situation, because you cant do that without losing more players than what you would gain by a merge

Considering the client is running on 1.12, any changes made to the ability prior to that should be working like the 1.12 version. Report it on the github, and it will be fixed sometime in the future if its not working as it should

Dizeliun, youve spammed the forums about the server is dying for months, and then you complain about no new people starting on horde? You killed your own guild by scaring away potential recruits, and now you wont stop until you have completely wiped out the horde population?

Its not supposed to drop on darrowshire yet. Once we get the revamped silithus patch it should, unless we get same issues as anathema Revamped silithus was in 1.8 Darrow is currently in 1.7

In PvE, a mob cant go below 0 resist. Dunno if its the same vs enemy players though. Blizzard fixed the negative resist part sometime in the middle of vanilla, previous to that you would do increased damage to mobs below 0 resist

2: It will be skipping a large portion of AQs progress, because 5-6 bosses in naxx is easier than all aq bosses. And only a few bosses are harder than cthun but drop gear that completely negate the AQ progress. It is basicly nerfed content unless you gimp yourself completely and dont enter naxx until AQ is cleared. And pretty much no guilds will do that. Which will ruin a lot of peoples game experience. 3: i get that horde would like more people and a merge would be beneficial to them. But 70% of darrowshire is alliance. And alliance is doing just fine. I dont find it fair that we should suffer because horde destroyed their own population by being toxic.
