  1. So what you are saying here is that you got a pretty much regular dkp system, but instead of bidding, your points is like a queue, and once you use points you spend all of your dkp and goes to the back of the line. t Then you /roll on everything that is not worth spending your months worth of dkp on? I still don't like it. Cause everyone will hoard points untill they get that one item that they want, just like the issues with a regular dkp system The biggest issue i see with it is the complete wipe of dkp when you spend points. Meaning, if you got 100 points, and the other guy got 20, then you will need to spend 80 dkp more than what you would have needed to. If i'm still wrong about this, then you better start explaining things a bit better.
  2. I read your post before you actually edited in the TLDR This line is what confused me and probably everyone else. cause here it looks like your points will go on top of your /roll
  3. But is it fair that the guy who attended 100% should lose to the guy who attends 75% This is a mmo, people spend a lot of their time with these kinds of games, shouldnt the guy who are always there be rewarded?
  4. The corruption come from the dkp master when he awards points, he can award more points to his best buddy. But that is not a problem with YOUR dkp system, that is a problem of every loot system, with the exception of pure /roll. cause thats only rng. The problem with your system is the randomness being to important. for a full MC run you will get 12 dkp If you had a roll of 50 and this other guy had a roll of 100, you will need to spend 4 weeks worth of dkp just to get equal to that guy with a lucky roll. That is incredible demotivating to your unlucky raider
  5. That is why i reccomend a epgp system. The inflation take care of itself with a 10% decay every raid. And recent activity is more imporant than the guy that stocked up on tons of dkp 4 months ago
  6. This is not retail where you can get a full set of epics within an hour. In vanilla, items are earned by activity and commitment to your guild, Here you can go months without getting a single item, that is why systems are made to reward those who are active
  7. Its too random to be fair really. Dkp is mostly usen in high amounts when a rare item drops You got 2 people with equal attendance, one rolls 100 the other rolls 50. They have both earned the item by long time commitment to the guild, but one needs to spend many times as much dkp to get the rare item. This is not fair. At least not with the values you posted there, due to a had roll will require months of farming content to get close to the other guy with a good roll If you want it to be decent, you need to up the values on the dkp gained so that the roll is of lower importance. Which then you could just use regular dkp

    Starting Warlock grinding tips

He probably means that killing one mob is pretty slow which it is. warlocks are great at killing a lot of mobs over time with very little downtime compared to other classes. If he's not, well then he's plain wrong
  9. Hello, i got a question regarding the transfer of the database. Will guilds be transfered as well? Or only characters? Reason i'm asking is because my guild use a epgp system, where our values were set as guild notes for the addon to work, so just want to know if we will have to reset our system or if this us stored on the database. From reading the transfer post it looks like this info will not be stored but would be nice with a clarification so we can set up a temporary system while we get our epgp functional again.
  10. I did use the search tool, no valuable info came from that. Until the faq was updated 3 hours after i posted this
  11. Really don't understand the "outrage" about no release date for the fresh realm. Elysium have stated in so many posts that the fresh one will be released after the old nost pvp server, and the reasoning behind it. And they even stated prior to this last stresstest that they would not announce release date for the fresh server yet. And they even gave a timeline, 3-4 weeks after depending on how smooth the launch is, so there is no secrecy, they just wanna make sure the first servers are stable before releasing what will be the biggest server. The only new to happen here is that the PvE realm got moved up to be released at the same time as the PvP one.
  12. The only difference is that on PvE server you need to enable pvp tag if you wanna do world pvp
