tl;dr: My friend got banned and doesn't want to post a ban appeal, so I posted this in the general forums to garner sympathy for my friend. Everything else is just he said, she said, and pointless speculation. The only people who know why your friend got banned are your friend and the GM who banned him. Posting here isn't going to change that.

Use in-game tickets to report players. GMs don't and can't respond to reports on the forums.

GMs will only respond to in-game tickets for reporting other players. Posting this to the forums doesn't do anything at all. It can take days for them to respond, depending on their backlog.

It is possible to design a malicious addon that will automatically mail your gold when you use a mailbox.

They already responded on here and said it was not an exploit.

They are just running bots to level their characters to minimum level. Increasing the minimum level just makes them run their bots longer, but it doesn't make it any harder.

Add a stopattack command to your vanish macro.

They changed +weapon damage to not affect feral forms back in January a year ago.

Enhance pointer precision is a setting in your system control panel, not in WoW, and that fixed this issue for me when I was playing on my laptop.

It's not a bug, it's the server-side settings for draw distance.

Since you failed to read my previous post I'll post it again: If rag was undertuned, then he's undertuned for everyone else on the server who failed to kill him first. I don't see how that's relevant at all here. This thread is just so salty! Edit: read through your post history, and it looks like you're just a salty person who got gkicked from a guild that didn't like salty people. Glad you found something else to be salty about.

Have disarm effects ever removed ranged weapons? I always thought it was specific to whatever's in your mainhand.

More tanks need to learn about the power of battle shout (not demoralizing shout).

Your concerns about how they doused the runes in one run would be answered if you bothered to watch the video. For your convenience, here is the relevant timestamp where they discuss getting summoning teams set up for the player who completed the quest for the hands. It's extremely likely that they had a quick trash farm raid to complete the trash prequest before this raid even happened. That would have given them the rep to reach honored on this run. What a silly thread.

Your typical 40 man raid has 2 prot warriors, making them the least needed class per raid (relative to DPS and healers, which are much less class dependent). On top of that, the two main tanks of any guild are going to be their most reliable members, and (hopefully) unlikely to quit. The entire raid literally revolves around them being online and being good at tanking, so you don't want someone who's going to flake out or burn out. It's very rare that a prot warrior spot opens up in an established guild.

To clarify, tanks are needed for 5 mans. You will have an extremely hard time finding a raid spot as a tank.

You didn't have any contraband buffs, so it seems like you're learning from your previous mistakes. Hopefully you keep on the right side of the law moving forward.

Put your current pet in the stables and go train another pet with the skills you want to learn. You just have to use the new abilities a few times with your newly trained pet to have them added to your pet training skill list. Then you can abandon your pet and train the new skills to your main pet you have in the stables. You can find which pets have the abilities you want here.

Since you're a shaman, do you still have the 2H Maces/Axes talent from the enhancement tree? If you respecced out of that, you can't use 2H weapons.

Well considering I come from a guild that got banned for a bugged Golemagg pull 6 months after the fact, I think they should all receive a 2 week vacation :P
