To alter the game settings, download the retail WoW client, make a free account, change your graphics settings, then install and open the 1.12 client and choose not to update graphics settings. It should be running on the retail client's settings now.

The vanilla API isn't capable of factoring talents into the tooltip of buffs (it doesn't know who cast it, only the rank of the buff). If you mouse over the spell on your action bars it will have the correct stats.

Vanilla wall climbing was patched in TBC, and since all private servers use a modified 2.4.3 client, you can't do it any more. The only jumping you can do now is jumping from one walkable spot to another. In vanilla, you could literally jump up any wall that was not completely vertical (and run horizontally along them)

The only response to bug reports I've seen from admins on here is a suggestion to post it on the bug tracker.

What's the difference between wall climbing and basic jumping then? The true wall climbing I'm familiar with in WoW isn't even possible on the game client private servers use.

Has anyone tested this since they patched crit stones to only affect attacks by the weapon it's enchanted on? Warriors in my guild were not thrilled at having to put them on MH and OH now.

It takes two basic jumps to reach the BS roof.

What's the reasoning behind powershifting for a ferocious bite? The conversion of bonus energy to ferocious bite damage is very bad. It seems like any energy past 35 would be better spent on shred. If you powershift, you wind up with +60 energy, much more than you need for a bite. Also, since they fixed crit stones to only affect attacks by the weapon it's enchanted on, I very much doubt it will work in feral forms.

Yes, and you bought the bind on pickup version. The BoE white stallion was available for one week for 1000g as well.

Sunder armor rank 1 is taught automatically as the reward from the defensive stance quest that becomes available at level 10. Did you do the quest?

60 energy > 1 autoattack.

Glimmering Mithril Insignia. It requires BS to equip and no other profession has an item better than that and engineering. And squawk is a melee buff from the Gnomish Battle Chicken.

PvE it doesn't matter unless you're for some reason in a group with melee DPS that can use the squawk buff. PvP engineering and blacksmithing are the best options by far (once you level up enchanting enough to make the tanking trinket). Leatherworking and alchemy have 0 benefits outside of convenience for your guild.

I prefer a PvP swiftmend spec for it because I'm usually solo with the flag. I also like heart of the wild + nature's swiftness, but not as much.
