Cousy can make those.

It depends what you do in PvP and what your preference is. I usually find myself tanking big damage in wsg, and prefer the 10% extra armor bonus over being more sneaky.

I get this error constantly when trying to transfer my Nostalrius characters over. I just have two tabs open in my browser, so I don't see how it can be an IP error.

8/11/32, pretty cookie cutter and I prefer it both for healing in BGs and flag carrying.

They already announced that Nostalrius accounts have priority on all naming conflicts. It's worth noting that realmplayers is by no means a complete database. As long as they were logged into at least once at some point, they will be in the Nostalrius database. For them to show up in realmplayers, they need to be seen by someone running the Realmplayers addon. None of my bank alts show up in realmplayers, for example.

Pretty sure that's just how they set up name overlaps between Elysium and Nostalrius (Nost characters take priority and you have to rename yours).

Many people didn't realize you could loot the chests through the back of the ships, without having to kill a single murloc. If you tried to fight your way through the ship, you'd inevitably pull multiple caster mobs that would demolish you, on top of running out of air.

Some alts on my account are unable to receive mail: "Not in your alliance"
Lorilay posted a topic in Help & Support
I have two alts on my main account that I use to store various mats on. Currently, I am unable to send mail to them or add them as friends, because it says, "Target must be a part of your alliance." This is the case whether I'm logged into that account or from another account. I can send them whispers (although they are only level 1 and cannot whisper back). They have no special characters in their names, and they are definitely a part of the glorious Alliance. Any ideas what's wrong with them? -

For anyone facing a similar problem, the issue is with Elysium account names from the (filthy) other faction that were flagged for a rename due to Nostalrius characters having the same name. -
When I run MC pugs on my alts, there's usually 2 or so feral druids in the raid.

Oops...I was confusing mind control with charm. It's still a pretty major bummer because your default actions when charmed are to shift to caster and cast hurricane, which leaves you super-OOM on Hakkar after 2 mind controls. Polymorph/Hex immunity is working correctly, which is good for tanking ZF and LBRS (and maybe Jin'do? I forget if he hexes his primary target or not).

That one, and every NPC spell doing 33k damage all of a sudden.

Wanting to play a lazy class. Which one is the most lazy?
Lorilay replied to FrankieWuzHere's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Buy a mouse wheel with infinite scroll, bind frostbolt to scroll down, scroll down and go grab a drink. For even greater laziness, macro Arcane Power and ZG/ToEP to frostbolt. -
I'd have to test it again to be sure, but I'm pretty sure you lose the buff if you swap out the weapon.

Pro: higher threat potential (except maybe against Thunderfury) Con: greater total damage taken (due to lack of parry and shield block) Pro: higher HP pool and more mitigation per hit that connects due to armor Con: subject to crushing blows Con: can't break fear as easily as warriors Con: Nefarian will turn you into a cat tank (still doable, though) Pro: immune to charm CC (although this was not the case on most private servers, including Nost)

Mages and Warlocks - Pretty much none Priests and Druids - 3 pieces of T2 for set bonus (two of which are actually BiS for druids) Warriors - If you're tanking Rogues - T2 is good, T1 shoulders better than preraid? Shaman - Are horde scum Paladin - Maybe 1 or two pieces of T2? Hunters - T2 set bonus is good for the raid

For those of you not familiar with a little Nostalrius drama, some members of NOPE were banned for clicking on Felwood plants at the same time, but were shortly unbanned. However, the staff never said whether it was OK to continue doing going forward. So, is it OK for us to buff on Songflowers as a group going forward on Elysium? It's worth noting that this was pretty widely done in vanilla WoW: Video from Archimonde (US) Image from Lothar (EU) Post on Nostalrius Forums

Things like channeled spells and aoe should no longer take up a debuff slot. Shadow priests rejoice!

Four ticks, and the threat is applied to the caster, and it's threat from the amount healed each tick.

Nost/Elysium Weekly Reset Time

I've leveled about 8 druids so far (yeesh). My preference now is to go feral until savage fury & faerie fire, and then pick up omen of clarity and furor last. That's pretty much allowed me to grind mobs (and quests) without drinking once, and using an occasional bandage. By banking my +int gear from quest rewards that are not feral upgrades, I've been able to tank, dps, or heal any dungeon up to level 60. Once you get past BRD, it's good to start working on a real healing set if you want to keep healing dungeons. I've tried other variations, such as getting omen of clarity of furor earlier, and it wound up being less efficient overall. At the very least, you should go feral until cat speed. That's a huge boost to your leveling speed.
