I'm just referring specifically to giving up when you're down against a better team. It's not something I do or encourage my teammates to do, but then again I'm not seriously grinding honor. I can certainly understand why people would prefer a short loss to a drawn out one, and I think it's silly for the staff here to try to make that against the rules. I think that's very different than organized win trading, and if people want to roll over and be a bitch to a better team then that's their decision.

I feel like the GM staff has a specific idea of how BGs should be played, but they've done a very poor job communicating that to the player base. Giving up after losing the BS fight shouldn't be bannable. If groups are grinding maximum honor, there's no reason to draw out a game 3-2 for 20 minutes.

Common bug on private servers when you put quest items into your bank. Abandon quest and retake.

On every other server, charging back donations is grounds for a permanent ban across all accounts. Grow some balls and ban him and his drama.

When you vendor tribute drops, gold is created for the in-game economy (which can lead to inflation). When a group of players artificially control the price of devilsaur leather, it's just the transfer of gold that already exists in the economy (no inflation).

To be more specific, the API isn't capable of factoring in talents to the tooltip on buffs (there's no way for it to track who cast it). It is, however, capable of factoring in talents into the spell on your bars or spellbook. It's not a bug, and there isn't anything devs can do to change it without modifying the client.

Both horde and alliance have GY jumps. It's not against the rules to use either one. Both alliance and horde can jump through the alliance fence, as long as you're not a fat cow or part of the patriarchy.

Well that one I actually remembered because I had a mage alt that hit 50 right around patch 1.7. That said, wowwiki makes a decent source for many old quests (check the revision history, and keep in mind that it's not super reliable). To get a more concrete sources (say, for a bug report), I use Wayback to look at the quest/item pages on allakhazam and thottbot, paying attention to when they first appeared and the dates of the comments on them.
