@Link From the sounds of it you guys are ready to go on AQ, is there still a plan to do PTR or are we just going to go straight into the live version?

People aren't impatient, they're worried, we've been farming MC/BWL for over a year. We don't want this to turn into an ED situation where there is only BWL open as the highest raid tier for 3 years, that is what people are afraid of.

Well put, us guys over at Scuba Cops are dying for a War Effort update or the badge quests to be added. As it currently sits the current half of 1.9 patch is homework, not fun. We understand that the War Effort is an integral part of the patch but I created the community tracking spread sheet and the turn in's have screeched to a halt after the easy items were completed recently (Leather, Runecloth). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x03BIdgIne9SVIOc016T-eHgx-cJZkXv6sEsYXD9yh8/edit#gid=1600352199 We heard @Link say soon TM on the AQ PTR which is one of the things we have our hopes set on. We want to get in there and help the QA team finally finish off AQ and get it pushed out. It's clear that the War Effort numbers probably won't be reduced until they feel AQ is suppppppppper close to being done because that would be a let down for everyone. War Effort finishes and then jk, you can't go into AQ yet. We love Anathema (AKA Nost) and we want to see it succeed, AQ is currently the only thing the server is hanging onto.

I suppose what I should've said is that the contributions to the War Effort have stopped. I don't think the people with stockpiled mats have any interest in turning them in. Or if they're holding the server hostage for money that's even worse. Basically what Lorilay said, if we have the ability to make meaningful change (significant reductions in size) through singular farming effort I think that people will be reinvigorated to farm.

Hi @Link I've been keeping track of the War Effort numbers on a public Google Doc so you can take a look for yourselves. But the stockpiles have clearly run out, we were at about 1.20% per day last week and this week we are down to about 0.65% per day. Bumping this as well. We actually need a response from you guys ASAP about decreasing War Effort numbers. This isn't some tin foil hat joke. People are leaving Anathema because the War Effort isn't possible to complete. @Pottu - You're usually the king of reason. Any help for us poor old souls? (I'm sure you still have a char here too!)

Bumping this. As someone who has played from literally the second original Nost launched until now we need some sort of statement by a GM, CM, Admin, whoever that you're planning on reducing the numbers of the War Effort soon, and not soon TM. Based on the speed of the slowest material being farmed we're on course for a 300+ day War Effort, I'm sure you guys read this stuff and are actively talking behind the scenes about this in your Dev and QA meetings but outside of @Link[1],[2] and @Cogfather [3] telling us what is linked below we don't really know much else other than you're "reevaluating" the situation. I think we would all be a less worried if we knew you were going to scale the numbers down to make it last ~3 more weeks like your original intentions. [1] Our goal is for the War Effort to last 3-4 weeks, but that estimate is just that, an estimate. The actual time required will depend entirely upon player participation. [2] The PTR is on its way! I did a run thru of aq40 and have a few tweaks to be done but I will reach out to the guilds who are chosen for the PTR to have times set soon...TM [3] With this all in mind, over the past week, we have taken everybody's feedback into account, and are currently in the process of re-evaluating and re-calculating materials based upon player participation. Many of the materials stockpiled prior to the event simply have not been turned in.

Glad to see the servers have been paid so far forward. REALLLLLY looking forward to testing AQ40 PTR, also would love to hear more about your plans for reducing the War Effort as stated earlier this week.

Glad to hear the update, hopefully OVH will get the renewal link sorted out quickly! Looking forward to hearing the final update. (Also waiting on AQ40 PTR stuff and War Effort news once the servers are back stable again and the admins can resume normal activity!)

You realize OVH is the provider for literally hundreds of servers just like Nost and Elysium. Blizzard didn't shut down Nost because of them being in France. Nost voluntarily shut down in an attempt to meet and convince Blizzard to release legacy realms. You really should stop spouting off uninformed non-sense, you're not as informed as you think you are.

Yes, that is what it is called when two human beings exchange words about a shared topic. A discussion. Given that this was quite a massive amount of money charged back the hosting company needs to be sure that something like this won't happen again. So there will be a bit of conversation between our Admins and the provider.
