If they find that gold you purchased was given to your other accoint, then yes. If not, shouldn't be an issue. You're allowed to start over as many times as you would like as far as I know. So they don't permanently block you from the server.

What do you mean "does it ever work"? It's been around for 3 1/2 days. It's a new server launch. It will be horrible and nearly unplayable for the next week to 2 weeks. Not bashing the staff at all. That's just the reality of a new server. Deal.

You didn't pay attention. They don't restore deleted characters. Even on hacked accounts. They certainly wot restore your character due to your own neglect.

Not sure if you noticed or not, but, the twitter feed is displayed on the main page. You don't have to have a twitter account to keep up with it, and it's certainly easier for them to quickly post an update to twitter than to make a new post on the main page.

How do you "misclick" a character for deletion? You have to select the character, hit delete, and the type in all caps DELETE into a verification box, then hit accept on the verificatiin box. It is impossible to accidently delete a character. Also, they don't restore characters.

That was also 12 years ago. Consider the possibility that you may be remembering wrong. If you're trying to go into the Furlbog cave, you'll need to either be slightly over leveled, or need at least one other person. You're going to get multiple mobs on you at once, and you're going to barely have time to rest between fights. I've played this starter area on 3 different servers recently, and they're all the same. Unless they all happen to have gotten it wrong in exactly the same way, thus is what it was intended to be like.

That's not actually a weird reason to get banned. It's happened hundreds of times in the past couple weeks. Your account was comprimised and they used it to advertise gold. People who advertise gold get banned. Therefore your account got banned.

He wasn't the one who deleted the character, but he does share some responsibility for what happened. Elysium wasn't hacked, another server was. As soon as Elysium found out, they made several announcements about it, and warned people to change their passwords. But, before any of that ever even happened, if he played on Nost he should have known better. The same thing happened during Nost 1.0. Lots of people lost their accounts to bans, and lost their characters to deletion. The ToU for this server suggests strongly that you use a totally unique username and password for your accounts. It also informs the user that any resultant ban due to account hacking will be the sole responsibility of the user, not the server staff. In other words, if you continue to use the same exact account credentials that you used on other servers, don't come complaining about it and demand your characters back. It's your own fault. There was nothing anyone else could have done to prevent this. You chose your account username and password. Sugarcoating it does no favors for anyone. Your character is gone, and it's your own fault. Be smarter next time.

Not gonna happen. They don't restore deleted characters. You're account got hacked, most likely due to using the same account info from the other server that had a data base leak. That's your fault, not Elysiums.

If they made the twitter post, do you really think they'll put it up for a vote. I think this is more of a lack of patience than anything. They have said they see the need of possibly reasing anot her server. Let them do their thing.

You're asking if they would shut down a server that had no one to help run it? Is this a serious question? I'm sure they would put some serious effort into trying to find replacements asap. But, yeah, if there is no one to manage a server, then you can't run a server. It's not my logic. It's just logic. You have to have at least a minimum of manpower to do anything. Including run a wow server.

What you're not realizing is that servers require resources from real life people. Time and energy. They are a volunteer staff that is already stretched to the max. Maybe you should join the staff. Help lighten the load. The fresh server is exactly what anyone with half a brain knew it would be. If you don't like it, play on one of the other 2 servers they are providing for free.

Yeah. That was my point. What's the motivation to randomly ban people? Why exactly would they bother themselves with that? If they were going to just randomly ban people, why would they even bother banning anyone at all? It would be pointless.

Yup. It's like the police. They just start arresting people at random. Just whenever they feel like it. They just pluck you out of a crowd.
