Not sure random is the right word to use. There is a system in place for auto bans. If you trip that system, you get a ban. All bans are reviewed. ALL bans. Whether you're blatantly guilty or not, if you post an appeal, you get a review. I'm not sure why anyone has a problem with this. If your ban gets reviewed, and the ban sticks, I trust the staff to make the right call on that. Who else do we turn to to enforce the server rules?

If you're really innocent, then just make another appeal thread like Nelythia said. Don't be rude. Don't assume that they aren't going to help you. Be as polite as possible, given that you're obviously very angry. And provide as much detailed info as you possibly can. Give too much info if possible. Detail everything you remember doing for the last few days before the ban. If you're innocent, hopefully you'll get your account back.

Did you not read that gold buying results in a permanent ban? As Mimma pointed out, of course you get gold seller whispers, you're the reason they do that! That's probably why you bought gold in the first place. Because instead of installing SpamThrottle and ignoring them, you said "50g for $6. Wow! I can get my lvl 40 mount no problem now. Yall shouldn't have bought gold. They don't have to give you proof. In fact, it would work against their ability to police this type of stuff. The more they tell people about how they gather their evidence, the easier it would be to circumvent the rules.

Most of the sellers cant even access the server without VPN tech. So ip banning is less than worthless.

Pretty much this. Every private server it's the same thing. People play. People break the rules. People expect to get away with it. When they dont, they blame the "corrupt and incompetent staff". They flame the entire project, because obviously they just randomly ban people, I mean why else would you start a private server? They say it's all a waste of time, they make rage posts, they say the server is going to be dead in X amount of time anyway, so don't bother. It's always the same thing.

I'm not sure how often they check the content of this particular forum. It doesn't sound like your account is banned, but maybe try posting this in the Ban Appeals section just incase. And you can PM Ajiin also I guess. Don't know how quick to respond the GMS will be as far as PM's go. They're really busy right now.

This project isn't about "thinking outside of the box". It's about keeping it classic. The reason people don't like your idea isn't because you out imagined them, and they just cant get on your intellectual level, its because it's a bad idea for a classic server.

So what youre saying is that all Chinese need to be banned? Cause acording to you nearly 100% are either buying or selling gold.
