Start a new account. Don't do anything shady this time. If your old account gets unbanned, bonus. If not, at least you made some progress with your new main while you waited.

I'm sure there are some false bans. Human error and all. But very, very few.

What do you want them to tell you? That as of this moment you are still banned? Don't you know that already? The more time they spend posting updates, the less time they have to sort through ban appeals. Let them do there job. They will give an answer when they have it all sorted out.

Lots and lots of people got their accounts hacked. This is a volunteer staff. Give them time to sort it out. I'm sure they're working their way through the sea of appeals right now. Your turn will come.

If you had actually been keeping up with this you would know, they are restoring accounts on a case by case basis. Not everyone will have their accounts restored, but, I think you can be quite happy that they are considering appeals at all. Your overall argument is as water tight as cheesecloth. No one has time to babysit people who are dumb enough to keep using the same credentials over and over again across multiple servers. At least half these peoplease played on Nost 1.0. They should be well aware of the rules about hacked accounts. They should be well aware of the fact that you need to employ proper account security measures. The most basic security measure is to use unique username/password for every server. This was well documented on the original servers. People got hacked there for the same exact reason.

I don't want the staff of any server I play on touching my password. If you think the staff should have predicted this, then what does that say about the people who chose to use the same exact credentials for both servers? Shouldn't they have predicted this also? The onus is on the account creator, not the server staff. People need to learn to accept the blame on this for employing horrible account security. Quit trying to shift blame to the staff of this server. They had nothing to do with the data leak, or your choice of account credentials.

The only real solution is to ban VPN services. Banning the buyers is great, but, it doesn't stop the sellers. They don't care how many people get banned. And people will always buy gold. There will still be gold sellers, because people from China are not the only ones doing it. But, it will greatly reduce the amount of sellers, farmers, and hackers. Personally, I don't care if this means that the server gets ddos attacks for the next 3 months. After that's over with, the server will be better for it.

Your absolutely correct actually. Not sure why so many people are so hyped about a severely overcrowded server.Hope they keep the 6k cap on pve. Feels just about right.

That's why I said a few weeks AFTER fresh release. Maybe it will be longer. Either way, it will happen at some point.

It's fine as long as it's 2 people controlling each character. If you make a habit of autofollowing, someone will most likely report you, and if your spouse is afk when the gm decides to test if your boxing, you'll end up eating a ban. Best bet is to not auto follow and avoid the whole situation all together.

Yeah, they don't care about levels. Lvl 6 was the cap for chat restrictions. I'm sure they were programmed to send goldspam also.
