This is a Vanilla WOW project with clearly set goals to emulate vanilla up to 1.12.1 There are actually servers that have chosen to implement custom changes. They tend to be less popular than classic styled servers.

No changes would have ever been made. If there were never any expansions, WoW would have remained exactly as it was before TbC launched. For 12 years.

How many people play a Paly as a main? It's only available to one faction, and only a out 20% of that faction will play play over warrior. The only QoL change would be for that minority of people. If you're talking actual QoL changes, you're talking about overall gameplay changes, not just tweaks to your favorite class.

The really sad part is, if peoplease just didn't buy gold it wouldn't be a problem.

Emulation. Look up the definition. There are servers out there that do this already. If it was "good for the game", they would be more popular than they are.

So, on this fresh server, are people not allowed to out level eachother? Or do people really believe that they are not going to get out leveled in the first week? I'm not getting these comments. What do they mean?

Aggro range is fine. If you think it's wrong post some evidense in the bug tracker.

For the record, I play on the pve server. So, it's really just about world firsts? If that's the case, then there is more than enough time for that. There is still a ton of content that hasn't been released yet, and won't be for a while.

PVE server is not that far progressed though. You won't be "left behind". If you want to play on pve, play on pve. What exactly is involved in being "competitive" on a pve server anyway?

I see no issues with a new pve server, if the devs feel it's needed. Wiping the current pve server would be really stupid though. Give it a few weeks and the pop will stabilize. Elysium should be launched by then, and you'll start to to get a better grasp of what the servers will look like.

What would be the point in that? Why try to nitpick the rules just to do something that would provide no benefit.

My view is that you're being both impatient, and unrealistic.

Mana regeneration is fine. If someone is healing and can't keep up at lvl 40, that person is either very bad, or his group is very bad.

Days before that? It was launched saturday afternoon. Of course it was rough for the first 36 hours. I expected much worse actually. I was surprised I was even able to log in at all on saturday night. It hasn't even been a week. Calm down people.

What are you talking about? I have yet to wait more than than 45 mins, even on sat/sunday with 9k in queue. Other than Monday night, when the server actually went down, it's been 100% stable the entire time. No lag. No random dcs.
