if you require a VPN to use a service, how are you a legit user? allowing VPNs is like giving every citizen a machine gun, because some cannot sleep without having one. but creating a threat for everyone else. VPNs are tools to allow you something you are not meant to do. illegal stuff. and if its illegal in china to play here, its not elysiums duty to help you bypass your goverments walls, which also allows many others to abuse VPNs to every legit players disadvantage. i can understand those ppl and i feel sorry for them to have to live in china, but thats not our business. VPNs have to be shut out for everyones else wellbeing

why do neckbeards like you even care so much if ppl call themself customer or not? ppl playing here want to have a good time and experience. the elysium staff is trying to deliver that. doesnt matter if you call the ppl they "work" for customers or leechers or whatever your neckbeard prefers to call them. they need each other. and if you prefer the elysium staff to have the same attitude the kronos staff has and not like nostalrius had, i can tell you where this project will end.

you dont have to pay to be a customer. the problem i see is that elysium does not deliver as promised. nostalrius had way less issues its last months, now all the issues from the first months are back. this is disappointing

playing on nosts servers feels like riding a horse revived from death

for nosts servers, the content wasnt done yet they released a timeline. so it was delayed several times because they werent as fast as they expected to be. so for the new servers the content will already by full functional due to the old servers. i wouldnt expect much delay. and in the end, it wont matter much

btw, on retail, 1-2 years after i stopped playing, my wow account was also closed (banned) because of suspicies activities. it was hacked somehow. so this practice, banning hacked accounts, is very common

good idea. it will lead to some cunfusion first and trouble for those that cant access their original email address anymore, but will fix the password leak issues
