You can get a pretty good pvp set with the AB/WSG offset pieces and R10. The odd tier piece isn't bad either, such as T1/t2 bracers or T1 gloves.

The fact of the matter is that because of the size of the population on nostalrius, this quest is in no way representative of how it was back in vanilla. You rarely had to wait very long to try the demons back then and I think that's the main issue people are having with the long respawn timers. Nostalrius is around 5 times the size of a retail high pop vanilla server. So it would make sense for the demons to respawn 5 times faster. But I don't play a hunter so I don't really care either way. Oh and another factor is the percentage of raiders on nost compared to back in vanilla. By the time the leaf was added into the game (1.4) there was already an absurd amount of guilds clearing mc on nost compared to the same time period on vanilla, which means the demand of the demons was absurd from the start, compared to the "trickle" effect that retail vanilla had just due to the fact that less players raided.

Nightfall & Blackfury was added in 1.6.0 with BWL & DMF. And as far as I remember Lionheart Helm was released in 1.4 or even at the start of the game. Titanic leggings should indeed be released after AQ, and they are not yet implemented on nostalrius. I'm going to assume you looked at wowhead for the "correct" release dates of the items but Wowhead didn't exist until 1.11, so every item on the site is listed as being added then.

I've only had good interactions with the oriental population of nostalrius, like that time a single chinese alliance guild (<The Twilight>) defended Azuregos spawnpoint from four different horde guilds.

It's been manageable without dummies for all these years, don't see why they would implement this all of a sudden. As seen above people will immediately start crying about "blizzlike".

I've honestly seen more фекал thrown at retail players from the private server community than the other way around. no one I play retail with gives a вау about the private server community.

If you need to check out guides on how to level in vanilla then I have a hard time seeing you beat people that's done this 10+ times before. But I'm rooting for you, pal.
