When you get to your character login, click the addon button in the lower left hand corde and make sure it has been added correctly.

Thanks. This has been posted several times but I'm glad someone has brought it back up. I keep repeating on the PvE server for folks to start using this instead of flooding the chat channels with lfg. This just makes more sense to me! I was whispered several times that this doesn't reflect the Vanilla feel of the game, but I would bet almost everyone has somekind of addon that makes playing easier. ie questie, aux, onebag, etc.

Anyone getting lag spikes about every 30 seconds? It may not be questie, but when I disable it I don't get them.

I'm stumped and I have been trying, but....I was playing fine with v3.5 but now my tracker is gone. I have deleted files in the wtf, went back to older versions, tried using shagdb and eql3, tried every setting from /questie but no tracker! Anyone have any clues? edit: meh, not sure what it was, but I deleted all my incomplete quests and it popped back on. I may have had a quest out of the trackers range and it bugged it out? Anyway, disreguard my dumbnuss please.

When you use moveanything!, move your cursor over the button you want to move. You will notice in the moveanything addon (the section below the main menu with the movement arrows) that the mouseover will display the name of the "Parent" frame you want to move. Just type /move "framename" and it will unlock, and you can drag or resize it as you want. Just use moveanything and drag them...you can also resize them. I really dislike using moveanything, but sometimes I have to.

I'm having issues when using EQL3 and reading quests in my quest log. For some reason something is causing the addon to default to whatever quest is at the bottom of the list. https://youtu.be/atms-BTCdtc Drives me crazy trying to read a description and it bounces to the bottom quest! Thanx

Do you need something like EQL3 or Shagudb? edit: perhaps deleting your cache as well. Just ideas...I'm far from an expert but this might be something to try.

FYI, if anyone gets strange occurences while inspecting items on NPC vendors, and the windows stick to your tooltip when they shouldn't, rollback your version to 3.0. Description: When opening a vendors list of items to mouseover, the "currently equipped" item panel would hang/remain open after closing the vendor. The panel would also attach itself to other frames and remain there until I reloaded. This issue happened with versions 3.3, 3.2, and 3.1. v3.0 worked fine.

Does anyone know of an addon like Pawn or Topfit for Vanilla WoW that calculates and finds appropriate upgrades for your spec/class, and then recommends a choice? I noticed that Vanilla WoW is getting a lot of addons made for it that weren't here several years ago, and I was hoping I could find something like this.

Ya, I think I'm going to go with a Shaman and find a guild that is more into enjoying the time playing together, rather than busting out gear. I like the idea of playing a warrior, but I also like healing myself. lol TY Hirag.

It looks like you have played Shaman quite a bit. Have you had problems getting into raids? I am thinking of starting one this weekend, but have no real vanilla experience with them. The internet has mostly negative feedback other than restoration at 60. My other choice is Warrior because I didn't play that much either, but I heard this was harder to level. Anyway, ty again.

I'm hardly against PvP, but I always play PvE now that I'm a bit older. I simply flag myself if I feel like PvP, and for some reason I am ganked more on a PvE server than on a PvP. PvE players get bored and see that yellow marker, and It's like throwing a goldfish in a piranha tank. If I am being griefed I log out for a while until they get bored, go away, and log back in. Not a big deal. PvE server gives me a choice. /Shrug

I kinda planned on just farming mobs and not questing for about a week off and on. I can not stand waiting for a mob to pop up with 30 people. I would love some kind of exploring guide myself...with a story involved around the lore. Probably to make it more bearable, you could RP. /shrug

Thanks Skipadawoop, I believe you are correct! Doesn't hurt to look though, and with a couple days till server launch I haven't much else to do!

I also started playing games like pong on my tv set back in the 70s, but this is why addons were incorporated into WoW, they help simplify and add quality of life to the game I know of atleast 5 very useful addons from expansions that have been incorporated into 1.12.1, that were not available a couple years ago, and that is why I was hoping someone had written a new one comprable to Pawn. /shug. Plus, if you are in the UI, Addons area of this site you must be here to be "spoonfed" as well.

Thanks Wulf. I have looked at these and have theorycraft in my lineup, but was looking for something like Pawn. I'm not sure if you have used it, but it will display on mouseover if the gear is better than your equipped piece. It isn't fool proof, but it makes decision making much quicker when you are doing dungeons and can't decide to need or greed. You can input your own stat weights and help determine which ones are upgrades. Yes I am lazy!!
