Make Azeroth Great Again

This is literally trail of tears. I'm so angry, so very very angry. Reeeeeee. Well, everything is out of our control. It's time to just accept the harsh reality. I've been playing intermittently since Elysium's release. Not too much but every couple of months I might log in. Anyways I was surprised when I checked in today that all my characters were gone and there were only two realms available. Heck me, so I read up the news on the website and few other forums to discover that my characters are hanging in limbo until this new PVE realm goes live. Ugh... Do you people think it's still worth playing Vanilla? How long will this new PVP realm be active until the eventual downfall?

I like the normal leveling experience. This whole project was dedicated to replicate the original WOW experience. That's the main reason why I signed up.

Ahhh, that explains why only Nighthaven is showing up on my realm list.

I don't play here often but I'll keep my ticket short. I had the name Spirithealer saved but when I logged in today I noticed that it was taken from my account and somebody else has claimed the character. Why and How? Guess I'll just suck it up. Not my server or my rules. I have other characters to play. Hope whoever got it is happy. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't hacked or robbed.

All I know is that when Elysium first came online in January I made a roaster of character names I wanted and I locked Spirithealer in. Now I came online and the R is replaced with a 1 and now I have to change my name. it feels like I was robbed of that name so another person could play it.

First off I just upgraded my computer from a windows vista to widows 7. I saved a backup of the zip file for 1.12.1, I set up everything correctly even my realmlist.wtf file but now I can not connect to Elysium PVP realm. I could really use some help at this point because I'm lost.

Greetings, I have two hobbies: video games and music. Specifically Black Metal and Fantasy Music. When I first started playing wow I enjoyed the music in the game, but as time went on it began to bore me and I would turn off the game music and listen to my own. Now, I'm an explorer of the Black Metal genre, but the one band I always come back to is Summmoning. Summoning has always created an atmosphere while playing video games so with Elysium going online and the current release of "A Homage to Summoning - In Mordor Where The Shadows Are" The timing couldn't be more perfect. Almost 3 hours of various artists take on Summoning's original music. If you've never heard summoning I would suggest listening to their full discography, start with Minas Morgul and go forward from there. If you dislike unintelligible vocals I would suggest searching for Dungeon Synth. What patch will it be and will there be a timeline of released content? What steps should I take prepare myself for launch day? (It took almost 11 hours after Elysium's launch for me to log-in, not complaining just fact.) I plan on keeping this thread active and keeping a FAQ list. If there's already an existing FAQ please leave a link.

I had to same problem. Make sure the file properties is not set to read only, then if you have to create a notepad document and make it exactly like the wtf file. Name your new notpad file as 'realmlist.wtf' delete the old one if you can't change it then replace it with the new file. Of course set your list as: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org I had to try this a few time. Don't give up.
