Professional Gamer Seeks Girlfriend for Elysium PVP Server
Snide posted a topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Hello. I'm a rich 29 year old Jewish American male that needs a girlfriend for the Elysium PVP server. I'm going to be raiding with Grizzly as their main tank and I need a female that will play a healing class and use said healing spells on me as we adventure through Azeroth and LOVE. I specifically require potential applicants to: 1) Have a cute voice. You should send a vocaroo or youtube audio recording of you with your application. If you sound anything like any role Kana Hanazawa has ever done you'll be fine. 2) 10-18 hours a day to game. You're going to be healbotting me as we level, and I'm under extreme time constraints to hit the cap quickly. If you have any sort of a real life or can't put your life on hold for a week or two this position isn't for you. 3) Must understand anime memes or 4chan culture. If I can't talk with you about things relevant to my interests then this isn't going to work out. 4) Not LEWD. This relationship will remain pure and no hand holding or any such nonsense will take place. I will be streaming a decent portion of my leveling (when I'm not exploiting and hacking in the TRUE GRIZZLY FASHION). I will not engage in any sort of naughty talk what so ever, nor will we be meeting anytime soon. I also don't care what you look like, only how your voice sounds and your attitude. 5) No clicking. I don't mind teaching you how to play, but if you debate the basics of WoW mechanics or some such nonsense this isn't going to be a functional relationship. Love is a button you press using an Autohotkey script, not a mouse click. Potential applicants should PM me their application with attached recording before the server releases. There will be an Interview conducted over Teamspeak. A little about myself if you've read this far and happen to be interested, this is my anime of 2016: Winter: Konosuba. Spring: Re:zero. Fall: New Game. Winter: WWW.Working. Anime of the year: Konosuba. xoxo Hope to talk to you soon cuties. -
You'll have to wait like ~6 months for me to get the gear and make video part 2! This guide isn't tanking 101 stick to that stuff before you're ready for big boy tactics. You don't need to take the full amount of damage to gain the additional point of rage! Even a point every other or even once in every ten swings is more tps than not. You also don't understand that you're harming your healers position on realmplayers by purposely taking less (non-lethal) damage. You've already deduced the extra armor doesn't reduce damage by a lot, why HURT your HEALERS Realmplayers ambitions? The best avoidance mechanic for TPS is no avoidance, you'll always get more TPS out of the rage than a hasted auto or two with any weapon, even more-so when legitimately half the hits will be crushes or crits because you're trying to avoid shield blocking unless revenge isn't up! It's 2017, start sitting down when a boss swings at you.

Some bosses you'd use a defense set, certainly not all. It doesn't even work on everything in MC (Garr/Sulph adds). I also will have around ~13k hp when I'm tanking in BWL for this type of style.

I'm not going to go through and nitpick all that much, but there's only 8 debuff slots on Elysium and a number of other factors. All of our raid virtually has sappers, I'm using them and have them hotkeyed in the video. There haven't been enough Cornerstones yet for me to get one but eventually everyone will have one along with dog whistles for Ragnaros etc. PPM doesn't work on private servers, look at the code which is available and most things are just flat percents. That's another reason why I believe Alcors is underrated. You're posting retail knowledge that just isn't accurate for Mangos. You also keep talking about items and trinkets which aren't available on Elysium. HOJ generates extra rage from additional procs, and while yes it doesn't proc from every single boss it still is the BIS trinket for threat with the currently available gear. Sometimes it's worse than a Rammstien's lightning bolts or whatever else random crap you'd use, but most of the time it'd be superior. You can see Luci getting smited by our priests in the video, if you're paying that much attention to it at least notice those things or look at our realmplayers logs. As I said I can't always control if I have fire shield/ret aura, I obviously want them and it's not my fault directly if they aren't kept up on me. The armor pot is simply because it's not proper to not use every possible consumable or buff at your disposal. In this current tier you're going to need 10 healers to do things like Garr without adds, tanks are a lot squishier in 1.4 and I can't even tank all 8 with a fully defensive setup and imp sw without dying. Could a healer skill issue but I haven't seen any guild on Elysium pull it off without risk. As I said in the video, vanilla WoW has an infinite skill cap and you could always do something better. Anyone can analyze a video and make 1,000 adjustments to improve just a single person's play, not even an entire raid. That doesn't really change what I outlined in the guild or the major themes of it. The 4 stats comment I agree with, but then I won't hit 5 digits of HP. Next patch/tier! Also I use the savage glad in my actual migitaton/def cap sets so it's a net loss for those. There's no reason I shouldn't have farmed two of them though, Elysium has been out what 3 months now?!

My weapon choice is ideal because most boss fights are super short and I spend the majority of my time spamming heroics. I already said in the video I didn't play the Luci fight perfectly which is why I picked it instead of one that I thought I didn't mess up in. HOJ and other flat procs scale really well with super fast attacking weapons, DMC: Maelstrom isn't out on Elysium but when it is (I think BWL?) I would use that over a HOJ. Raw AP doesn't really help your threat as much as a HOJ would, because I'm using a retardedly fast weapon I actually get a lot of procs out. Same thing with crusader, PPM doesn't work on private servers it's all flat procs (Like UW). While BB is more reliable than mark of the chosen, Chosen is also a lot strong when it's up. When you're doing speed chain pulls your overall damage throughout the entire instance matters more than any specific boss, which is why I use it. Overall it will outperform any trinket until some later BWL+ options. You don't understand the concept of pushing Realmplayers, I want to stress my healers and make them HEAL more so they get HIGHER scores on Realmplayers. It isn't if I should or not, it's that if someone else DOES the healers are LOSING on Realmplayers. This isn't about reducing the already easily healing, it's about increasing it intentionally. When I know threat is established I heroic strike over sunder most of the time. The boss won't live long enough to worry about reapplying it after five stacks, and more dps=faster kill=better realmplayers score. You need to start looking at the game from a Realmplayers point of view not an optimal beating 12 year old content point of view. Even with a full TPS setup if your healers are skilled and popping all mana consumables on CD's it is easy to manage chainpulls in MC. I think I had too many buffs in the video so the fire shield (like my oils of Immo) didn't show or got knocked off. The paladin being out of position is his bad but it's not the end of the world, I have a lot of return damage so it's really hard to notice when I'm missing bits and pieces here or there.

Your tanks aren't having issues because fights aren't lasting 20 seconds. Go look at Realmplayers on Elysium and see what the top guilds are doing to bosses. This guide isn't directed at people struggling to clear content, this guide is for FARMING, SPEEDRUNS, and REALMPLAYERS pushing. Not progressing or trying to down the boss. if at any point your DPS ever need to 'hold back' you've failed as a tank because people are LOSING dps spots on Realmplayers over your threat.
-
It's almost like they haven't bothered to think or learn something new in the decade since classic WoW is out. Better copy what people did when it was a serious question if clicking or not was the way to go for optimal play!
-
You just don't really think about what you're doing. Less parry is more rage=more threat=more healing so your healers look better on Realmplayers. You're objectively 'wrong' if you're trying to max TPS.
-
I hope you're being silly. When a boss encounter lasts 20 seconds starting with 100 rage is ideal. Anger management is the best prot talent in the game period. It's extra rage on boss fights, in fact around ~100 if you do it right like in my raid streams. You can do as you please but you're gimping your threat. The rest is just nonsense. Toughness decreases your threat/second, more rage=less rage. Best of luck in however you want to do it but I'd double you on KTM.

Can I come MT for you once <GRIZZLY> gets bored of this stock mangos garbage server? I'm two confident.

www.twitch.tv/youmulol I'll probably go for several days with 4 hour naps until I'm 60 and bis preraid, so the stream should functionally be on almost always after the 7th. I'll probably stream virtually everything about the initial race for the server if you random plebs don't annoy me too much. Weeaboo stream warning in advance. If you can't handle that go watch another GRIZZLY pov. Now's your chance to vicariously be a top tier autist.

I hope you're not serious. -
Once Elysium comes out you should DEFINITELY /join WEEB then. This will be a player-driven channel for anime/visual novel/otaku culture discussion. There won't be any warnings for spoilers, so if you're currently watching something seasonal make sure you catch up on whatever you're viewing before joining. It's a hundred times more fun to level while discussing passions, so definitely give it a shot! Also, everyone's waifu is perfect and not lewd, same with imoutos.

Don't bother. You're wasting your time on a buggy piece of фекал that's already owned. Yeah, you heard me. Elysium is Grizzly's territory. We're going to have the whole place cleared while you're still in Southshore. We're going to have 10 r14's while you're not even 60. Casuals and anyone without <GRIZZLY> under their name might as well just go off to cuckland somewhere else. All you're going to do is delay the login ques and crash the servers for the first day, that's literally all you'll ever accomplish. You don't have the dedication. You don't have the skill. You don't have anything. There is no purpose to you existing on that server besides farming us consumables maybe. Go be a leech somewhere else and leave the big boys to play with their big toys small son.

Why are you even considering playing on Elysium?
Snide replied to Snide's topic in Guild Recruitment
This post doesn't belong in the guild section. I'm seriously asking why people besides <GRIZZLY> would even dream of playing on that server. Honestly, the developers should make applications to get into Elysium to keep out the riff raff and inexperienced won't make it to 60 scum. It'd improve the overall quality of the server. I mean really, Ching Chong will put my mongoose up on the AH without a massive amount of plebs lagging the zones and spewing their gibberish. Elysium should be only for the best of the best. -

"At the end of the day, at the end of the day when all was for naught, I can at least take pleasure in knowing that my little sister is waiting at home with open arms and a warm bosom." — Sophocles Since the Armory Show of 1913, the state of Western Civilization has been one of decline. Though the rise of Modernist Art might not seem terribly significant to the average uneducated reader, the paradigm shift from Representational Art to Abstract Art planted the Seeds of Degeneracy that sprouted into the base and rotten Popular "Culture" that we are all so familiar with today. Indeed, with shameless and vile works like Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey standing proudly at the vanguard of a modern Literary Movement that panders and coddles its audience, Western Literature has never been in more dire a state. What happened to authors who challenged their readers like real writers do? Where is the bravery? What happened to Subversive Literature like Great Expectations, a veritable seven-part Landmark Masterwork by David Copperfield about an orphan who goes to a secluded school that straddles the edge between "magic" and "reality"? And this horrible trend of dumbed-down throw-away culture is not limited to the realm of Literature (if horrible books like Twilight can even be called as such). We no longer have true artists like Fragonard whose shockingly honest and realistic depictions of the harsh reality of daily life were barred from the Paris Salon of 1863. But where the West has fallen, the East will rise, and today I am going to talk about the work that will undoubtedly serve as the herald of the most important Literary Movement of the new millennium: the Japanese animated television series "As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He is My Brother, Right?" There is a genre of writing called Allegorical Fiction. Considered by the vast majority of Rational and Moral Enlightenment thinkers to be the Highest form of Literature, the great Dutch librettist Voltaire famously said, "Give me not a story about a man who does deeds, but one where the man becomes the deeds." However, it is not nearly as accessible as a conventional linear narrative with wish-fulfillment elements like Fifty Shades of Grey and as it is very rare to find a work of Allegorical Fiction these days, it is an exceptionally rare treat to be fortunate enough to experience one. As such, we should be very thankful that the underground Japanese Literary Movement known as "Imoutocore" is giving us the opportunity to once again experience works from this all-but-forgotten genre. The heart of Imoutocore is Family Values. Yes, these are the same Family Values that have been so savaged abandoned by the vulgar abomination that is Western Popular Culture, and it is a miracle that a small group of Japanese writers were somehow able to remember these vaunted Family Values after almost an entire century of Western Degeneracy. As Saint Thomas Aquinas so eloquently proclaimed on his deathbed, "As men there is much for which we should be thankful, but above all things, it is not the opportunity to know God for which I am most thankful, but the opportunity to know the bosom of my little sister." Thus, as Aquinas was one of the discoverers of Western Morality, we can infer that the central tenet of Family Values is the ability for one to love one's little sister. Though the seminal Japanese light novel ("light" is short for "en-light-enment") "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute" (Oreimo for short) is arguably the founding work of the Imoutocore Movement, the animated television adaptation of the light novel "As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He is My Brother, Right?" (OniAi for short) will undoubtedly be remembered as the most important for both its deep and meaningful narrative and the sublime art and animation that was wrought from the hands of the maestros of Studio FUNimation. The crux of the story is what the early 20th century (aka. Pre-Degeneracy) Russian philosopher Edsger Dijkstra called "The Teapot of False Choice." Although Akito is living in the same house as his rightfully beloved little sister, he is surrounded by temptation in the form of other women. However, as this a work of Allegorical Fiction, the reader is not to think of them as "real" women. Instead, one is best served to think of each as a False Choice that together compose the metaphysical structure that Dijkstra termed "The Spout of Deontology." As for Akito, although it is tempting to think of him as some sort of Reader Avatar of sorts, he is what translators have varying called "The Cap of Moral Righteousness" or just "The Cap of Justice." When the Cap of Justice is in place, the only way for tea to escape the teapot is by following the Path of False Choices on the Spout of Deontology. Or in layman's terms, Akiko is best girl and a perfect miracle of the universe and MC is an ignoble gentleman for ignoring her and consorting with other females. Although Visual Art is the most corrupted aspect of contemporary Western Civilization—recall that the Seeds of Degeneracy were planted by Modernist Artists in the first place—the Japanese arthouse film collective Studio FUNimation was able to shed the weight of one hundred years of Degenerate Art and produce what can objectively be called nothing less than a feast for the eyes. Drawn in the style of Socialist Realism that was favoured by Russian masters like Lu Xun and Ai Weiwei, a complete mastery of the female anatomical form is not only demonstrated in the art of "As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He is My Brother, Right?" but employed as a key element of its unique style of visual storytelling. Indeed, even the Greeks were not fully confident in their mastery of the human form and frequently used lewd distractions like exposed genitalia in order to distract viewers from anatomical imperfections. Furthermore, they, nor any culture that followed were skillful enough to use the female form in such a bold way as the Siscons (the term that Imoutocore artists use to refer to themselves) do in this work. Boldly bringing new meaning to the term "False Choice," Akito's temptation is profoundly palatable in each and every scene where the talented artists of Studio FUNimation grace the screen with their powerful depictions of the components of The Spout of Deontology. The reason why I started this review with a quote from the great Roman tragedian Sophocles is simple: "As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He is My Brother, Right?" is a tragedy. In the end, Akito is unable to make the right choice, is unable to love his little sister, and is unable to uphold Family Values within his household. The ending of this story is perhaps the very saddest in Literature, as the heart of any viewer should wrench during the highly emotional climax and somber aftermath. And after everything, when we realize that his little sister will never truly know the love of her older brother, we also realize that just as Akito is doomed, Western Civilization is as well. But as the Korean sociologist Watari Wataru added to the end of one of his treatises recently, "My wife might have left me and I didn't get tenure, but goddamn am I glad that OniAi is getting a second season." -
