In theory it is possible, but it will be hard work, since you will have to locate and download all patches between your CD version and patch 1.12.1. So in reality downloading the full client will be easier and probably also faster.

GM's does not restore gear, except for quest items such as Onyxias Necklage. The rest you must gather yourself.

As I understand it, you imported your characters into Account A, but can't log into that account. So now you want to import the same characters into Account B - which is not possible. Instead you should find out why you can't connect to account A.

The servers are up again after names was changed. It doesn't seem old unused names was released; at least the ones I tried was not accessible. However, I could just be slow to register them :-)

This ^ The only way Elysium can retrieve data is using the generated tokens. And since the token generator broke / was disabled long time ago, there is nothing Elysium can do unfortunately.

If they modify the client (like changing models does), or modifies the code in memory (which I guess some of the graphic enhancing mods does), then it is bannable. I would'nt risk it myself.

If they could, they would enable it on equal servers. But as already pointed out, it is a quite big change in the code to implement cross-server battle grounds - just just a configuration change. Nostalrius was looking at the option to create the code, but they never came far. Elysium might do the same, but it will not be happening anytime soon - if at all!
