Back In vanilla I remember being in Westfall always asking for DM boosts from my mates level 40 hunter. Never really heard it being called VC on Burning Blade EU. But then I think I saw VC sparingly maybe when I started playing again in 1.12.1 going through into burning crusade.

Why not have 2 servers with the same character DB so you can play on either or as you'd only be able to play one at a time. Then if the population settles out just remove one server and everyone logs into one.

This is exactly what Blizzard did to troll the twinks that were pestering about the ability for years. It was priceless seeing the forums after it. But anyway... This is a vanilla server with Vanilla features. I don't understand why people feel the need to simplify it adding features that take away from the true vanilla experience. Yeah.. you could accidentally ding 20 by exploring a zone.. oh it's shit.. I've done it back in Retail but it was part of the game. I had a few 29 twinks back in the day and I also had a 69 twink which was a lot of fun which you can see ... Blizzard never really banned Multi-boxers, they may have this 3rd party software sending clicks to all active windows but if they were running mulitple clients on the same "Machine" then they aren't botting as they are still in control of the key-presses. If it was a BOT on the other machines then it would be illegal. I know Nost had a different stance on this, I'm not sure what Elysiums Official stance is I presume the ToS has been copy-pasta. People in TBC used to get banned due to running across multiple machines, so PCs would effectively be playing "Unaccompanied" because peoples machines were not powerful enough to run 5 simultaneous clients nowadays this isn't really the case.

One thing that is interesting is the pet pathing is not the Nost version from what I can see for example the pets don't work on the lifts anymore and just fall through I remember thinking that was so cool when they fixed that on Nost.

Obviously you are going to get the generic flame response from the freshie crew I think they completely miss understand how cancer the start is going to be and just how laggy it's going to be having thousands of people in the same starting zone. Allowing characters 10-30 to be xferred from Nost PVP would make alot of sense to help populate the mid zones and provide a healthy start to the economy. I'll obviously get flamed for this by the generic "what don't you understand about fresh server response" the server will literally be PlayTBC for the first 2 months at least

Guys, you are getting this 100% wrong. You don't need to wipe the server to make a level playing field just allow new players a catch up mechanic like an instant level 55 character. Problem solved.
