Wow, oldies checking in. 46 here, gamer Dad. Grew up with Atari 2600, Odyssesy 2, Intellivision, Commodore 64! Loved the Ultima series and even did some Ultima Online. Played WoW since launch and man, its good to be back!

I think you need to get Desolace Nijel's Point to fix this. Once I got that it would connect properly.

Going out of town and in the evening might want to play. Obviously though my IP address will change when i log in. Will I get banned? I know Blizzard is usually cool with this but you never know here.

My worry is that the fresh start servers were pushed back so far that very few players will go there because they already have a foothold in the Nostalrius servers. In my opinion, the servers should have been released in the reverse order. Thoughts?

Responses like this drive me crazy ever since the internet became popular. Heck, even in BBS boards in the early 90's. Because now, when someone uses the search function they will see this thread, with a response in it to use the search function!

Well, my highest lvl character was only lvl 17, i could create a new account and then have these characters send over gold to my new account. Would sending a small amount of gold like 50 gold set off any reg flags? When deleting a character, is the name available immediately to a different account?

I created a new account on Elysium and mistyped the name of the new account I wanted. Then transfered my character over like a dufus. For an example lets say I mistyped and wrote wowgan instead of wowfan. It would be nice to not have to look at that misspelling every time I log in forever playing on this server.

When I created my Elysium account, I spelled my username wrong and then transferred my characters there. Is there a way to have someone change my username? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
