I saw the Twitter post, and have a question, are you only merging the ole PVP server? My characters were on the PVE server. The PVP characters I had are lowBs I really dont care about. "Greetings Champions! Your wait for your beloved characters from Darrowshire & Elysium PVP is over on August 15th."

I have to admit, I was looking forward to restored characters over server progression here. Server progression is great, but having a character at max level again to enjoy the server progression I would think is a priority (for me at least).

At this point, a PVE server would be great, but im leveling on the PVP server, only because when I returned to the private server I left for Legion (it was OK enough to play), there was NO pve option and would probably remain there on the PVP server. I would switch to a new PVE server only if a character transfer option was available. However, lets face it, server population is becoming an issue on the only option we currently have. Lets not split it.

I was able to transfer my NOST characters to Anathema and Darrowshire on 2 accounts (I had characters on both), and I am eagerly awaiting them to be restored. The transfer page was up for 2 days that allowed us to transfer our characters, then I heard Nost quietly sabotaged it due to pressure from Blizzard. I check the TBC/Restore characters thread daily, and am eagerly awaiting news. I have 2 60 Horde characters I badly want to play again. However I have also started over, just hit 40 on my druid, If the possibility to restore characters early is available, I would pay for it!

Well, since they have said restoring characters is in the works, you have no point, just wait for it like the rest of us, Im waiting on 2 60s myself. The difference is, I just returned and im playing new characters until then.

As do I, Im just hoping I can switch my PVE server characters to this PVP server, and faction change a Warlock! Sure would be nice to know WHEN.....

I already know this, and have posted in that thread already, my post in this thread is about the PVE vs PVP topic. I referenced lost characters to show I would play on either with them, but prefer PVE, as the majority of my characters were on the PVE server.

There wont be any overwriting, they already said earlier in the thread they will be flagged for name change as current characters retain the name. IMO, after the old characters have been restored, mail anything you value from the current characters to one character, Delete your current characters, then rename your old characters to their original names....

As the 60s I have were on the PVE server, I would personally prioritize them. Question: when do you plan on implementing the availability of ANY restored characters?

As much as I dont like PVP, and my lost characters were on the PVE server, Just to play Classic in this manner Id do either. Still prefer PVE, but whatever....

I have been thinking about this, and I am totally in favor of it, but you should only restore characters to currently active accounts, and restore others on a request basis, This doesnt flood the server with new players from LH that only want to come back and taunt or belittle the current playerbase for not going to LH! Alot of the characters that were stolen are there, and people are playing them, to have those same characters restored here invites trouble. MY old characters are there, and I wont play there, total loss because of something I had no control of. I cant wait to at least get my higher level characters back, but not at the cost of of potential harassment. We have a nice community now, and I would hate to see it destroyed by griefers.

Please do this... I miss my old characters, and re-rolling has been slow....

Trommel, I understand Elysium is not associated with Lights Hope, I was surprised my old characters were there, I was asking Kruxis is he had verified my old characters which came over from Nost, were infact verified as still here and available when he spoke of the new TBC/Merge. I have no idea how my characters ended up on LH, I just was hoping it was verified my characters were in fact here and will become available to play here again. If so, Awesome, If not, well I have already started over so....

TBC would be sweet! Have you verified that my characters are indeed there? Will Vanilla content also be included in this TBC server? or is it only TBC?

I have the same issue, on 2 accounts, I originally came from Nost, Did the transfer here when it was working, and after some research they seem to be on Lights Hope! I KNOW they were here last I played... So Im starting over...
