@Hamblin what about functions that work in game but don't affect the game, like auto-replace "btw" to "by the way" and such? Should be ok IMO, but just making sure.

While you could technically make your character do some automated actions with AutoIt, it can't react on anything happening in game, so it would be a blind bot without much use. However, some posts from some GMs led me to believe such programs are indeed forbidden (even though I think its bullshit since any addon can give a bigger advantage to a player).

It's funny, but just recently I had a similar situation with a BoP mana potion recipe in a dungeon (Scholomance it was I think), it didn't appear for people to roll on, but then I saw it in the corpse loot list, and then it said "everyone passed" on it, yet nobody could loot it. Weird stuff.

Horrible advice IMO. Gameplay at 1-10 levels doesn't mean shit. As for mage/warlock ratio, see http://vanillaradar.com/elysium-stats/elysium/. At level 60 there are twice as many mages as warlocks on the horde side.

Well, I think if you start playing horde despite of already ridiculous horde/alliance ratio going up to 61%/39%, you deserve it. However, I must say, playing BGs as a solo guy on alliance side isn't very easy either, more often than not we either get overpowered by horde or it's just a Chinese win-trading premade where the whole team just sits at stables doing nothing.

This might be just my biased opinion, but for me it seemed like fishing in Darkshore was great for skilling up at all levels. And yeah, I don't know if it has anything to do with Darkshore Groupers.

The names of the buttons are irrelevant, its funny that you even use it as an argument. Regardless of what the buttons are called, there are game mechanics behind them, its all that matters. And those mechanics are: high-priority need, low-priority need and pass. I don't see how that could serve as an argument for either side. PS: also its funny that people who say "gold is not a need, its greed" never care to elaborate why, or to back it up with anything other than their own perception.

If you're asking me - it depends on whether or not loot rules have been stated and what those rules are, and also if it's a guild raid or a pug. But by default - yes, I would.

You may spend all of this to buy aquadynamic fish attractors, same as the guy who wins a gear upgrade might never even use it because he respecced/stopped playing/Disenchanted it by accident/etc. It doesn't matter. What matters is the value you get from the drop. For BoEs it's equal for everyone, for BoPs it's not, how hard is this concept for you to grasp? You don't roll Need on BoP because whoever needs it for gear upgrade needs it more. You roll Need on BoE because everyone needs it equally. Bullshit. Prove it. True. Theoretically. As for world PvP, man, it's epic indeed, I love it. I would recommend playing on Elysium realm if you're not afraid of a little ganking, overall it it worth it.
