Honestly so far its the casters who give me more trouble rather than melee. I'm not really experienced either, but my opinion is: You don't want to waste you scatter shot just to trap him, you need to place the trap under his feet. Then if he uses trinket you just try to survive these 30 seconds before you can place another one. Use scatter shot, wing clip, counterattack and detterence if you can, aspect of the monkey (not against warriors though). Then you trap them again, get some distance and kite.

It does matter though in terms of what mangos is representing, pre-2.4 or post-2.4? Cuz thats what the whole argument is about, whether or not elysium currently is harder than original vanilla.

When I was leveling my mining in Badlands on Elysium, I've seen 2-3 hunters camping Broken Tooth spots almost all the time. I did randomly run into it and tame it when there was noone around though, but I guess I got really lucky with that.

It is hard enough as it is, the point is that you want it to be hard for you and your guild to enjoy this content, and in that case you can just leave the buffs out. You don't have to restrict other players from it just because you enjoy it this way.

If you want to keep it difficult and competitive, just don't use the world buffs. There's no need to restrict casual players like that.
