You should indeed roll on all BoE drops, you have as much right to do that as anyone else. What you do with it then - sell it on AH, sell it to your party or use it yourself - is up to you entirely. Why is that stupid?

If he can sell it on AH for a certain amount of gold, then also you of course can buy it on AH for the same amount of gold. So by getting this item you would save the same amount that s(he) can gain by selling it, which makes its value equal for both of you. That's how tradable (BoE) items work. Now, don't you think it's only fair, that since the value of this item is almost equal to everyone, then everyone should have an equal chance of getting it by rolling "Need"?

What makes you think the need to equip it is somehow superior to the need of selling it? Are you being serious now?

I was wondering if you're allowed to use 3rd party programs that simulate user input and to what extent. For example: — a script that would type my account name and password when I launch the game — a script that would instantly type /target with a space in chat so I could type the rest. I am using this, but now that I've read some GM's posts I thought it might be considered cheating, so want to make sure. Any responce from the team would be very appreciared. In my personal opinion, this shouldn't be a problem since there are many addons that give a much bigger advantage, but it's not up to me to decide. PS: all of these scripts are activated by the user, e.g. I press a button and the script launches, so it's not like botting.
