On topic, you don't really provide much information, so I have no idea what actually happened. But yeah, it can be annoying when people accuse you like that, I have been on a recieving end of it once too, even though it was partly my fault too. It was a LBRS run I think, and the guy said "stones res" when inviting, so I was like, whatever, I don't even know what these stones are so its fine. He never mentioned it again, so by the time we were at Omokk I barely remembered anyone even reserved anything. So yeah, Gemstone of Spirestone drops, I rolled on it and won, the guy and his friend went quite mad, I felt like an idiot and apologized, but got instantly ignored and right after that they started spamming the world chat about me being a ninja. So I explained myself and sent this guy a mail with a 100 gold, apologizing, but also stating that he could've done a better job avoiding this situation in the first place. So, I never heard of him again which I was pleased with, and after all hopefully it was a good lesson for both of us.

You might wanna know that for each faction mages are about 20% of population and rogues are about 15%. I have nothing else to add on the subject though.

Accuse all you want, but leveling a pet in vanilla is a boring and lame experience which, if possible, should be minimized. Well, that's sad, I would've thought Lupos with BM spec would be able to do that.

Yeah, but if you plan it carefully enough it should work, for example you can clear the area killing mobs one by one so that they respawn in equal amount of time after each other so that your pet has enough time to regenerate hp... Perhaps it's possible. :)

Most people you see wanting to tame Lupos are probably from Elysium PvP where he still does shadow dmg and so is very popular.

I've never bothered ranking myself, but I guess so. After all, as it has been said before, gaining honor is about time investment more than anything else. However, I want to add this. There's a major difference between time investment in PvE and PvP. With PvE, you can raid even once a week and slowly improve your character over time, making it stronger and stronger. If you decide to take a break, you just stop playing and continue further whenever you want. With PvP and the way ranks decay over time though, you have to keep gaining a lot of honor regularly until you get the rank you want, and if it happens that you take a break or abandon this idea before you get it, all your time invested into ranking goes to complete waste. So with PvP ranking, you have to go all in until you reach it or not start doing it at all. This is why I believe that for casual player it's much better to just get the gear from raids, especially since there is no major difference between PvE and PvP gear, since we don't have the resilience stat. Unless you happen to be some specific spec that's hard to gear up in PvE and that has exceptionally good PvP gear, like feral druid. In that case it might be worth it to get the rank for 4 set pieces.

Its not about how hard it is, more like how much time are you willing to invest into it. You can farm honor for rank 7 even with a bad gear, it would just take longer. Overall, I'd say getting rank 7 isn't hard, but it won't give you a very good gear either.

Easy way to know it's down - the player count doesn't change over time. So yes, it is.

With Lupos and BM spec though, wouldn't setting him on agressive and going afk work as well, in a mobbed area?

It's really incredible, you would've thought that people playing a 11 years old game would do it just to have fun and enjoy the game, instead we have a ton of pussies who don't even fight in BG at all if they don't think they can win, because they don't want to "waste" their time for low honor profit. That's the ugliest form of tryhards to me.
