What's a pexing group?

I believe the cross faction collaboration rule isn't there to force you to kill any player of opposing faction on sight. It's to prevent you from griefing your own faction players in favor of the opposite faction. So as long as thats not the case, you should be just fine.

As a veteran of BoE-ninja-thread-discussions, when I see another thread like this... sigh, just another dude being upset about losing a roll. Yes, needing on a BoE to sell it is okay, and needing on a BoP to vendor it is not okay. Probably the easiest way to show that you're wrong is this: what if that priest had a warrior main of similar level? BoEs can be freely exchanged, so are you gonna argue one warrior needs this axe more than another one, just because the latter happened to play from his other character at the moment?

Also consider the borders between locations.

I'm confused about what people mean by "auto loot".

At first I was like "Lol, trying to find a player after half a year has passed, good luck with that". Then I remembered you muricans have your day/month/year order messed up for some reason. Btw, stating who you are, what class you're playing etc might help as well.

I have no problem with killing low levels who still give you honor, you should always do that anyway. But killing grey low level enemies intentionally can almost never be justified, I agree with you on that.

It's so funny and ridiculous when people say something like that, yet it pops up so frequently... This is like saying: "Hmm, I used to get beat up by older guys when I was little, but now that I'm a grown man I should go beat the shit out of that kid on a playground, gonna feel like retribution!". All you need to know to decide which faction to pick is that horde outnumbers alliance 55 to 45 most of the time.

Hello. So using autobuy function of Aux addon counts as botting and is prohibited. This makes very little sense to me, and my suggestion is to reconsider the rules for this case and allow autobuy, the reasons for that are: 1. It's an addon feature, and addons can only use the functions the game allows them to use. 2. It's impossible to police effectively. I've been using Aux and autobuy since I started playing in January and today was the first time I was contacted by a GM about it. Given that this addon is very popular, I'm sure there are hundreds of other players who use autobuy regularly too. The only way to tell if someone buys something manually or using autobuy is to ask them about it. If you can't effectively prohibit something, there's no point prohibiting it, since it would only put the good players who want to follow the rules at a disadvantage but do nothing to all the people who'll keep using it without any concerns. 3. It doesn't give that much advantage in the first place. If anything, it also makes the market more active the more people use autobuy. 4. Come on, everyone uses it anyway. Would very much appreciate if the GM team changed the rules regarding this, because at this point I feel like an idiot, bound by a promise not to use it yet knowing that most people most likely do. Here he is sounding honest and convincing: And then... Hahahaha. What's the moral of the story? Well, for me it is - no matter how convincing and honest a person sounds, if GMs checked him twice after he got banned and still refuse to unban, he's most likely a lying piece of shit. Threads like that only spread misinformation and fears about GMs supposedly randomly banning good honest people, but in fact it turns out to be bullshit so far.

Don't wanna sound like a crybaby, I'll have to give it some more thought, but I just wanna say I don't care how blizzlike the server is, what worries me is that those changes might simply be bad for the game. But then again, time will tell.

Some mediocre specs like feral druid have the advantage of being viable both in PvE and PvP, which balances things out. This change shifts the balance further away from it.

Yeah, that's one of the problems I was referring to in this thread. You should definitely install Aux addon regardlelss btw, it's a pretty awesome thing even if you don't use the "autobuy" feature.

Why? I don't know him. I thought a link to the original thread would be enough. It was suprising to me, tbh. As a GM, I'd imagine, If you know someone's guilty (and you should if you have banned him already), you have very little motivation to actually have any kind of conversation with this person when he says he's guilty. They probably just checked all this data to make sure they didn't make any mistake, no matter how unlikely it was.

Why would you wanna add a spammer to ignore list anyway? Unless they're spamming so hard that it's hard to see the chat, but that never happens.

Feel like this thread was still somehow misunderstood. @Alright This is exactly why I suggest only "Like" or "Upvote" system, without any possible downvotes. I do believe there's no reason why this system wouldn't be great. Unless you're talking about people whining about someone liking their posts, but I don't think it ever happens.

Since the suggestion to implement an upvote/downvote system got rejected (the reason wasn't stated so I assume it's to avoid players abusing downvotes), I want to make a suggesttion to only implement upvotes, or likes, whatever you call it. If I like a post and want to let its author know, it's much more convinient to press a "Like" button than make a separate post about it. Like system makes forum a much better place, I don't think anyone would disagree, so please add this. Thanks.
